Mileslife increases referral bonus to 1,000 miles for limited period

More bonus miles when you refer a friend.

Mileslife launched in Singapore back in June, offering users the opportunity to accelerate their miles earning on dining, hotel stays and recreational activities. Today, the app has more than 100 restaurants (including, thankfully, some cheaper options which were sorely missing at first launch) and offers bonus miles on activities like spas and theme park tickets . I’m always careful to check the Mileslife app before booking anything to see if I can earn some miles for no extra effort.

It seems like they’re ready to make another big push for members, because from now till 31 October Mileslife is increasing the referral bonus from 300 miles to 1,000 miles.

How it works is that whenever someone signs up with your promo code and spends S$49 within 30 days of registration, they’ll earn 1,000 bonus miles and you’ll get 1,000 too. There’s no cap on the amount of referral miles you can earn.

If you find the stuff on this site useful and want to send some bonus miles my way, you can use this link here or simply enter MILELION as your referral code.

One feature I really like about Mileslife is it gives you the opportunity to earn mileage currencies you can’t normally earn in Singapore. This lets you take advantage of particular sweet spots that certain FFPs have.

For example, I used Mileslife to earn 40,000 United miles, which I then used to redeem a one-way First Class ticket on Thai from Sydney to Singapore. Unfortunately, this great value redemption will only be available until 1 November, after which the United award chart devaluation takes effect.

I plan to do a separate article about unique award chart sweet spots that some of Mileslife’s airline partners have, so stay tuned for that.

One thing mileslife should address as a priority is the slow processing that the app I suffering from. Even with full 4G connection it takes on average 10 minutes for me to get a payment through. It’s great to earn miles but frustrating at the same time too.
