General Spending

General spending refers to any category other than specialized spending. Helpful, yes? Use these cards whenever you can’t earn a category bonus, for example clinics, hospitals, bookstores, or paying for repairs and renovations. Remember, however, that many “miscellaneous” places now accept Paywave or Mobile Payments, meaning you can consider one of the card options under contactless payments to still earn a miles bonus.
