Kaligo offering up to 18 KrisFlyer miles per dollar on hotel bookings

Kaligo is a “milesback” OTA that awards users with airline miles from more than 50 different partners including KrisFlyer, Asia Miles, ANA Mileage Club, Etihad Guest, United Mileage Plus and many more.

If this is your first time booking with Kaligo, you can earn an extra 1,000 miles on your first booking when you sign up using this link (I earn 500 miles).

From now till 30 November 2018, Kaligo is offering up to 18 KrisFlyer miles per S$1 spent on hotel bookings. Your stay period needs to be between 1 October 2018 and 31 March 2019 in order to qualify. 

I’m heading to Houston in about 10 days, so I decided to check out some of the hotel prices. You’ll see that not all hotels reflect 18 mpd- some will be slightly less, so be careful to check and do the math.

It’s also worth mentioning that Kaligo prices tend to be higher than other OTAs- the cost of those miles needs to come from somewhere! However, if you do manage to find a hotel which prices the same on Kaligo as it does on other OTAs, then you’re looking at a heck of a deal.

Bookings made through Kaligo are not eligible to earn hotel elite status credit and points, but if you’re not into all that or are staying in a non-chain hotel then this won’t be an issue for you. Miles are credited directly to your frequent flyer account with no transfer fees.

Remember if you do your payment via the Kaligo site, you can earn addition miles on top of your 18 mpd- use the DBS Woman’s World to get an additional 4 mpd on your first $2,000 spent for a total of up to 22 mpd.
