World of Hyatt’s new promotion: earn up to 1,500 bonus points per night

Registration required, stay between now and 15 May 2019.

World of Hyatt has just announced its first promotion of the year. From now until 31 March 2019, simply register your World of Hyatt account and for every eligible night you stay at a Hyatt property, you can earn up to 1,500 bonus World of Hyatt points per night.

Earn up to 1,500 bonus points per night from the second stay

In this promotion, starting from the second stay that you make with Hyatt after registering for the promotion, you will be able to earn up to 1,500 bonus World of Hyatt points a night. Here’s how the promotion works:

  • Earn 1,000 Bonus Points per qualifying night at 800+ Hyatt hotels, participating M life Rewards destinations and participating Small Luxury Hotels of the World hotels
  • Plus, earn an additional 500 Bonus Points per qualifying night when those nights are at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels
  • Bonus points capped at 50,000 points (50 nights) over the entire promotional period
  • Additional points earned for stays at Hyatt Place and Hyatt House capped at 25,000 points (50 nights) over the entire promotional period
  • Both paid and award stays are considered Eligible Nights

This promotion rewards those who will be making stays at Hyatt’s more affordable brands of Hyatt House and Hyatt Place. Closest to Singapore, Hyatt House, and Hyatt Place properties can be found at:

  • Kuala Lumpur (Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur Mont’Kiara)
  • Bangkok (Hyatt Place Bangkok Sukhumvit)

While the Hyatt House in Kuala Lumpur is not that convenient to get to, the Hyatt Place Bangkok is quite conveniently located to major Bangkok attractions (read: shopping malls).

It’s nice to see that Hyatt has included participating Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties in this promotion which should make for more hotel options to choose from for the Hyatt loyalists out there. As the list of participating SLH hotels are always changing, you can check out the latest list here. There are some very nice SLH hotels in which you can use your Hyatt points at although you will not receive the full perks of being a World of Hyatt elite member if you do.

From the time that that World of Hyatt members could earn and spend points at SLH hotels, the list has actually expanded in having 54 properties back in October 2018 to having over 110 participating Small Luxury Hotels of the World properties in which World of Hyatt members can earn and spend their points at. At some point this year, Alila hotels will be joining the Hyatt portfolio and I can’t wait to see what’s in store for World of Hyatt elite members at Alila properties.

World of Hyatt very recently announced a devaluation where most properties around the world are moving up a category. However, the good news for us in Asia is that most properties in Asia will be moving down a category instead. You can read more on that below:

Concluding Thoughts

This is a generous promotion from World of Hyatt and if you have some stays coming up with Hyatt, do remember to register your World of Hyatt account for this promotion.
