Hilton Flash Sale: Save up to 35% at SEA and Australasia properties

Hilton is having a flash sale where select hotels in the Australasia and South East Asia region are being discounted by up to 35%.

This sale runs from 26 March 2019 5.00pm (GMT +8) until 2 April 2019 5.00pm (GMT +8) and your bookings have to be completed between 31 March 2019 to 31 January 2020. You must also book your stay at least 5 days in advance.

In this sale, Hilton is offering up to 35% off the Best Available Rate (BAR) for Hilton Honors members when you book hotels in South East Asia and the Australasia region. In addition, for all stays booked during this sale you will enjoy a 15% discount on your dining expenditure at selected F&B establishments during your stay.

If you do not have a Hilton Honors account, registering for one is free and you can even instantly sign up for Hilton Honors Silver status to start earning more Hilton Honors points from your first stay.

There are some great offers available in this sale, with the Millennium Hilton Bangkok going for as low as S$104 and the Conrad Bangkok available at rates starting from S$196.

Hotels across the Causeway are also going at a bargain, with the Hilton Garden Inn Puchong, Hilton Garden Inn Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman North and South properties going for as low as S$34 a night. That’s a fantastic deal. If you’re looking to treat yourself and your family a little, the Hilton Kuala Lumpur is going at a great rate starting from S$97.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur, which I have reviewed previously, is also going for a great rate starting from just S$85.

Earn Hilton Honors Gold status for as low as S$100

Hilton and VISA have relaunched their “Fast Track to Gold” offer where instead of clocking 20 stays/40 nights at Hilton hotels to achieve Hilton Honors Gold status, you will only need to clock 2 stays/4 nights to achieve Hilton Honors Gold status. You can have a read of the promotion below:

Hilton Honors Gold status, in my opinion, is currently the “best” mid-tier hotel elite status available in the market as holding it gives you:

• Complimentary room upgrades (usually 1-category)
• Complimentary breakfast for you and 1 guest staying in the same room (but YMMV at various properties if you book more than 1 room)
• Priority Late Check-out

In this flash sale, the properties which will help you earn Hilton Honors Gold status for less than S$100 are the Hilton Garden Inn Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahmah North and South. Yes, these are two separate properties but they are located literally beside each other (well not exactly but they’re less than 50m apart). Simply book a one-night stay at one property for a night and another night’s stay at the other property and this will earn you the 2-stay credits required for the Hilton Visa Gold Fast Track offer. 

Of course, you will have to factor in the cost of travel between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. Otherwise, the DoubleTree by Hilton Johor Bahru is also a great option to perform a mattress run to earn Hilton Honors Gold status.

Concluding Thoughts

Hilton often holds flash sales like these and the last of which was just in February 2019. If you are starting to plan some getaways for the upcoming June school holidays or even for the year-end holidays, you might want to take a look at this sale.
