Announcing The Milelion’s Monthly Miles Meetup for February

It's a formative experience.

The Milelion’s Monthly Miles Meetup is a place for miles enthusiasts to meet, mingle, make merry, and silently pass judgment on neighboring tables using cashback cards to pay.

I’m pleased to announce the details of the next meetup:

Date: Thursday, 28 February 2019
Venue: 1864 at The Sofitel City Centre, 9 Wallich St, Singapore 078885
Time: 7.00 pm till someone solves Fermat’s Last Theorem

Tickets (which are always free) will be available from 12 pm on Tuesday, 19 February 2019.

Get your meetup tickets here

Although tickets are free, please exercise consideration to your fellow miles enthusiasts and cancel your ticket no later than 3 days before the event should you secure one and subsequently can’t attend. If you hold or get a ticket within 3 days of the event, you’re committing to show up!

This year, we’re doing something a bit different at the Monthly Milelion Meetups by inviting a different guest from the industry each month, someone who can share insights from the other side of the loyalty/hotel/airline/credit card table. It’s a chance to ask pressing questions, provide passive aggressive feedback and maybe get insider info, depending on how drunk we can get them.

Last month we hosted Kelvin Koh, Head of Grab Rewards. This month, we’ll welcome Rohith Murthy, the Founder & Country Managerof SingSaver.

February Meetup Guest: Rohith Murthy, Founder & Country Manager, SingSaver

Rohith Murthy is the Founder and Country Manager of SingSaver. Prior to founding SingSaver in 2015, Rohith was held various senior management roles at Siam Commercial Bank for Thailand and Citibank for Central and Eastern Europe where he led Digital Banking and Innovation. During his ten year tenure, Citibank was awarded Best Consumer and Corporate Internet Bank by Global Finance magazine in 2011 and 2012. Rohith holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) degree in Computer Engineering from National University of Singapore where he graduated on a full scholarship. Rohith is married to a Romanian and blessed with three children. In his free time, he enjoys reading, playing tennis and travelling to new destinations every year with his family.

Conclusion

Meetups are a great opportunity to meet fellow miles enthusiasts. Come down, get a drink, and avoid eye contact the whole evening!
