Earn up to 6 mpd at Audio House with Kris+

Kris+ has launched a new promotion for Audio House, which doubles the regular earn rate of 1 mpd to 2 mpd for all purchases until 17 July 2024. 

This is stackable with up to 4 mpd with the right credit card for an overall earn rate of 6 mpd, and could come in very handy if you’re in the market for electronics and other home appliances.

Earn 2 mpd with Kris+ at Audio House

From 4-17 July 2024, Kris+ users can earn 2 miles for every S$1 spent at Audio House. There is no minimum spend required, and no cap on the maximum miles that can be earned.

The offer will automatically appear in the Kris+ app, with no registration required. Only in-store transactions are eligible, though Audio House will generally price match any other authorised dealer- talk to the salesperson and see what can be worked out. 

As always, don’t forget to transfer any miles earned via Kris+ to KrisFlyer within 21 days of the transaction, in their entirety. 

If you spend any of those miles via Kris+, or wait beyond 21 days, the balance will be stuck in Kris+. Miles in Kris+ expire after six months, and can only be spent at a rather dismal rate of 150 miles = S$1.

A big “Transfer to KrisFlyer” button appears after every transaction, so there’s no excuse not to do so!

Discounts on Audio House vouchers

If you have no plans to visit Audio House just yet, you can still take advantage of the 2 mpd promotion and lock in an extra 2% discount. 

Kris+ is selling Audio House cash vouchers at 2% off face value, in the following denominations:

• S$100 cash voucher for S$98 (earn 196 miles)
• S$500 cash voucher for S$490 (earn 980 miles)
• S$1,000 cash voucher for S$980 (earn 1,960 miles)

There is no limit to the number of vouchers you can buy. All vouchers are valid for six months after purchase, and you must buy them by 17 July 2024 to enjoy the 2 mpd rate.

Given the big-ticket nature of Audio House purchases, it might be best to use the KrisFlyer UOB Credit Card instead for an uncapped 3 mpd. Unlike the 3 mpd offered for dining, food delivery, online shopping and travel, and transport spend, there is no need to meet the S$800 minimum spend on SIA Group merchants when spending on Kris+.

Conclusion

Kris+ users can now earn an extra 2 mpd on all items at Audio House, in addition to credit card miles of up to 4 mpd. This makes Kris+ shopping at Audio House twice as lucrative as the competition (Harvey Norman and Parisilk are both at 1 mpd) for this period, assuming pricing is comparable.

If your planned purchases fall outside the promotion window, don’t forget that you can buy vouchers now to lock in the 2 mpd rate, with a further 2% off face value and six months of validity.
