The UK will scrap its PLF and all testing/quarantine for unvaccinated travellers from 18 March, as BA also removes its mask mandate.

From 11 Feb 2022, England (and presumably the rest of the UK) will eliminate its Day 2 test requirement, making travel to the UK completely testing-free.

Good news: Fully vaccinated travellers to England will no longer be required to take pre-departure COVID tests, nor isolate for Day 2 testing.

Travellers to the UK will need to take a pre-departure test from 7 Dec 2021 onwards, in addition to the existing on-arrival Day 2 test.

From 0400 on 30 November 2021, travellers to the UK must do a PCR test on or before day 2, and isolate until a negative result is received.
