Register quickly: UOB Lady’s Card offering 4.8 mpd on dining

Restaurants in Singapore will reopen for dine-in during Phase 2, and the UOB Lady’s Card has rolled out a special promotion just in time. 

Earn 4.8 mpd on dining with the UOB Lady’s Card

From 1 July to 30 September 2020, the UOB Lady’s Card will offer 4.8 mpd on all food delivery and dining transactions. Any merchant with the following MCCs will qualify:

• 5811: Caterers
• 5812: Eating Places and Restaurants
• 5814: Fast Food
• 5499: Misc Food Stores- Convenience Stores, Markets, Specialty Stores, Vending Machines

This will cover all your usual restaurants and fast food outlets, as well as delivery services like Deliveroo, Foodpanda, and WhyQ. 

The UOB Lady’s Card normally awards 4 mpd on your selected 10X category (or categories, in the case of the Solitaire version), which is comprised of 1X base UNI$ + 9X bonus UNI$ for every S$5 spent. 

For this promotion, UOB will award an additional bonus of 2X UNI$ per S$5 spent. This additional bonus is capped at:

• 400 UNI$ (S$1,000 of spending) for the UOB Lady’s Classic or Platinum Card
• 1,200 UNI$ (S$3,000 of spending) for the UOB Lady’s Solitaire or Lady’s Solitaire Metal Card

Registration is required for this promotion, and can be done by sending the following SMS to 77862:

If successful, you’ll get a confirmation like this. 

Registration is limited to the first 10,000 Lady’s Card members, and you must select “Dining” as your preferred 10X category for the July-September quarter by 30 June 2020.

As a reminder, holders of the UOB Lady’s Classic or Platinum Card can select one of the following seven categories as their quarterly 10X category. Holders of the UOB Lady’s Solitiare or Lady’s Solitaire Metal Card can select two. 

Conclusion

This is as good as it gets for earning miles on dining, so if you have a UOB Lady’s Card, be sure to select your bonus category and register ASAP.

Unfortunately, unlike the gender-neutral DBS Woman’s World Card, only women can apply for the UOB Lady’s Card. There’s nothing stopping a lady from applying and adding her card to her partner’s mobile wallet, however.
