Applications must be received by 27 November 2022 and cards must be approved by 12 December 2022. Be sure to monitor your inbox for any emails from CIMB; based on my experience last month they may require additional documentation, and delayed submission will affect your approval date and hence eligibility for the offer.

- Complete your application and take a screenshot of the Application Reference Number (for CIMB, this is 8 alphanumeric characters, e.g 1-xxxxxxx)
- Fill in the SingSaver rewards form that will be sent to your email. Itโs vital you fill in the form. No form, no reward.
Youโll be able to indicate your choice of gift in the rewards form if applicable.
Qualifying Spend
The approved card must be activated and a minimum qualifying spend of S$988 charged in the first 60 days from approval.
Qualifying spend excludes the following:
- Amaze transactions
- Charitable donations
- Education expenses
- Government transaction
- GrabPay top-ups
- Insurance premiums
- Utilities

Gift Fulfillment
Gifts will be fulfilled by SingSaver within four months of meeting the qualifying criteria. The reason for the long delay is the need to confirm the qualifying criteria with the bank. If you’re not comfortable with this timeline, please don’t apply; you’re just going to get annoyed with the wait.
Cash gifts will be fulfilled by PayNow, while merchandise will need to be collected at a specified redemption centre.

Conclusion
CIMB cards may not be something a miles chaser uses for everyday spending, but I find it hard to argue with a S$350 cash rebate on a minimum spend of S$988.
Don’t forget to apply via the correct links and fill up the rewards redemption form in order for your gift to be processed correctly.

Usually best to hold for 1 year then cancel. Avoids them blacklisting you for “churning” cards.
problem getting linked from SingSaver to CIMB to apply (for the CIMB World MasterCard)…
I did the visa signature application and it went through ok. What happened with world MC?
page at cimb didn’t load after choosing SingPass MyInfo, then pop up saying “An error has occurred retrieving your information from MyInfo. Please try again later.” after awhile.
page loaded after a number of tries… but can’t continue again, somehow my name, which is automatically inserted, keeps getting flagged and coz of that, I can start the application process…
received a ton of SingSaver emails coz of many tries (coz need to fill in email at singsaver’s end). I think I will use the manual sign up instead of using myinfo
tried manual instead of singpass myinfo apparently my full name exceeded the characters limit… what a joke…

Hi, wanted to ask on the eligibility. I saw that the card has to be approved by 14 Nov to qualify, and applied before the end of Oct. However, CIMB just approved my card yesterday, 23 Nov. Do you know if Iโd still be eligible for the promo reward if I spend the min. requirement still even though my card was approved after the approval date? Thanks!

Applied for the CIMB World Mastercard through SingSaver on this promo period and clocked most of the $988 spend (around $900) on my overseas trip with the card tagged to amaze/instarem, mainly on food, taxi and hotel. However, CIMB came back to say that the spend was not eligible for the minimum spend towards the $988! How unfortunate.
