OCBC is currently running an offer for new-to-bank cardholders, which awards a meaty S$228 cashback with a minimum spend of S$500; an effective rebate of 46%.
There’s no cap on the maximum number of eligible applicants, and applications will be eligible to win further prizes in SingSaver’s March Madness draw too.

Cashback will be awarded as follows (you can only get one or the other, not both):

If you’re an existing OCBC customer, or simply prefer miles over cash (you weirdo!), there’s an alternative offer with OCBC$ instead of cash.
From now till 31 March 2023, customers who are approved for a new OCBC Titanium Rewards Card (Blue or Pink) will be eligible for up to 28,800 bonus OCBC$.
New customers | Existing customers | |
Sign-up bonus | 28,800 OCBC$ (11,520 miles) | 14,400 OCBC$ (5,760 miles) |
❓ New-to-bank | ||
New customers are defined as those who do not hold an existing OCBC principal credit card, and have not cancelled one in the past 6 months. |
A minimum spend of S$100 within the first 30 days of card approval is required. The gift can be clawed back if the OCBC Titanium Rewards Card is closed within six months from the end of the promotion period.
For avoidance of doubt, you will only qualify for the sign-up bonus once, even if you apply for both the Blue and Pink variants:
- A new customer who applies for both the Blue and Pink OCBC Titanium Rewards Cards will receive 28,800 OCBC$
- An existing customer who applies for both the Blue and Pink OCBC Titanium Rewards Cards will receive 14,400 OCBC$
Existing OCBC Titanium Rewards Cardholders are ineligible for this promotion, even if they sign up for the colour they don’t already have.
I value a mile at 1.5 cents, so getting 11,520 miles for S$100 spend is actually more than a 100% rebate! That said, 11,520 miles is worth less than S$228, so if you’re able to clock S$500 of spend anyway, then I might lean towards the cashback offer.
Conclusion
New-to-bank OCBC cardholders can enjoy S$228 cashback when they spend S$500 on their card within 30 days of approval. This is a great opportunity to cash in your new-to-bank status (and remember, OCBC’s “time out” period is just six months, as opposed to 12 months for other banks), so I’d seriously consider this if I were you.
Remember to apply by 30 April 2023 to be eligible.
I called OCBC and was told that all contactless payments are excluded from qualifying spend to get the $228. This includes all paywave payment methods (mobile and physical card). Absurd.
Yeah that’s an error. Contactless is included, as per ocbc
But the T&C says it’s excluded. That was why I called to ask.
Yup I saw it. Checking with them again, they probably just copied pasted from the previous incorrect version
update: OCBC says it’s an error, they will update the T&Cs to remove that clause
Alright, thanks mate!
The TnC states “Only 1 Eligible Card can be registered by the Eligible Cardmember for the Promotion”. As a new customer, I applied for 365 and titaniums using the links above and registered all 3 for the promo and March Madness. So which card spend will be counted for the $500 requirement?
I hope to get the $228 cash reward from 365 and 28,800 OCBC$ from titanium concurrently. Pls advise, thanks.
Am I able to get $228 if I spent $500 in iPaymy?
