If you have a DragonPass lounge membership by virtue of your Mastercard credit card, you might already know that instead of the official DragonPass app, you’re supposed to download and use the Mastercard Travel Pass app instead.
There was one problem though: the selection wasn’t the same as the Airport Companion or official DragonPass app. In particular, Mastercard Travel Pass users couldn’t see the set meals at airport restaurants that users of the other two apps saw.
There were some workarounds, like manually generating a QR code for the restaurant to scan, but that stopped working a couple of months back.
Fortunately, the issue looks to be resolved now!
Mastercard Travel Pass now features set meals
Previously, the Mastercard Travel Pass app only listed dining discounts, and not set meals. For example, Airport Companion users got a complimentary set meal at Terrace Chinese Kitchen and 10% off further orders, but Mastercard Travel Pass users only got 10% off orders.
Thankfully, this has now been rectified. Mastercard Travel Pass users now see the same set meal entitlements that Airport Companion and DragonPass users see.
This means there’s now no difference in selection between the three DragonPass apps (though OCBC VOYAGE Cardholders still cannot redeem set meals, for reasons only OCBC knows).
Using Singapore Changi Airport as an example:

Do note that DragonPass imposes restrictions on the frequency of visits, which are summarised below.
💳 Cards with DragonPass Access |
||
Card | Lounge | Set Meal |

If you’re using the Mastercard Travel Pass:
- You’ll be able to visit a maximum of one lounge every two hours
- You’ll be able to redeem a maximum of one set meal every two hours
If you’re using the Airport Companion:
- You’ll be able to visit a maximum of one lounge every two hours
- You’ll be able to redeem a maximum of one set meal every five hours
There’s no interaction between lounge and set meal entitlements. For example, you can redeem a set meal at a restaurant, then head to a lounge straight after.

Which cards include DragonPass?
At last count, seven different cards offer lounge access through Dragon Pass, with entitlements ranging from a couple of visits to all-you-can-eat.

Where it gets slightly confusing is that all these cards use different apps, and the app you download depends on who issued your card.

Conclusion
Mastercard Travel Pass users are now able to view and redeem set meals at participating airport restaurants via the app, bringing their selection in line with those using the Airport Companion or official DragonPass apps.
It’s not clear to me why this wasn’t possible from the get-go, but regardless, it’s good to know the issue’s been fixed.
If I am holding a UOB VI metal, can I claim 2 meals (i.e. for myself and my traveling companion) under the concept of 1+1 unlimited or the 2nd meal would need to be paid for?
is the priority pass transpa available for use with this?
