New KrisFlyer Experiences: Singapore Food Festival dining packages from 13,000 miles

KrisFlyer Experiences has launched a new set of packages in conjunction with the Singapore Food Festival 2024, which runs from 1-31 October 2024.

KrisFlyer members can redeem their miles for exclusive signature events and one-of-a-kind experiences at Michelin-starred restaurants including Lerouy, Willow and Saint Pierre. 

Experiences are now available on a first-come-first-serve basis, starting from 24,000 KrisFlyer miles for two people, or 13,000 KrisFlyer miles for solo pax.

KrisFlyer Experiences is SIA’s experience platform, allowing members to redeem KrisFlyer miles for money-can’t-buy activities like F1 Sky Suites, a chartered Points Plane to Langkawi, and a KrisFlyer-themed cruise to nowhere. KrisFlyer Experiences can be redeemed for the member or his/her friends and family.

Here’s a rundown of the various KrisFlyer Experiences for the Singapore Food Festival 2024. 

All experiences must be redeemed in full with KrisFlyer miles, and any additional costs such as corkage paid with a Mastercard credit card. All experiences are non-refundable once redeemed, and members can redeem as many of each item as they wish, subject to availability.

Any guests with dietary restrictions must submit their requests to KrisFlyer_Team@singaporeair.com at least 10 days before the date of the experience. 

A confirmation email will be triggered immediately upon successful redemption, and no further booking is required. 

Is it worth it?

It’s hard to do a like-for-like comparison because the menus have been specially curated for this event, but in general my advice is to look for at least 1.5 cents per mile in value for redemptions.

That said, if you have expiring miles and no plans to travel anytime soon, then this could be a way of cashing them out. Don’t forget that there’s other on-ground options too, some of which have been temporarily boosted as part of KrisFlyer’s ongoing Miles Paradise campaign.
