โ ๏ธ DBS defines โnew-to-bankโ as customers who do not currently hold a principal DBS or POSB credit card, and have not done so in the past 12 months |

You will need to enter the code SHOP220 in the promo code box when applying. This is extremely important so donโt overlook this step.

DBS provides a list of transactions that do not constitute qualifying spend for this promotion. Curiously enough, theyโve added local transport, petrol, and GrabFood to the usual list. Itโs odd, but thereโs plenty of other transactions you can do instead.
a. posted 0% Interest Instalment Payment Plan monthly transactions; b. posted My Preferred Payment Plan monthly transactions; c. interest, finance charges, cash withdrawal, balance transfer, smart cash, AXS payments, SAM online bill payments, bill payments via internet banking and all fees charged by DBS; d. payments to educational institutions; e. payments to financial institutions (including banks, online trading platforms and brokerages); f. payments to government institutions and services (court cases, fines, bail and bonds, tax payment, postal services, parking lots and garages, intra-government purchases and any other government services not classified here); g. payments to hospitals; h. payments to insurance companies (sales, underwriting and premiums); i. payments to non-profit organisations; j. payments to utility bill companies; k. payments to professional service providers (including but not limited to accounting, auditing, bookkeeping services, advertising services, funeral service and legal services and attorneys); l. any top-ups or payment of funds to payment service providers, prepaid accounts and any prepaid accounts (e.g. EZ-Link, NETS FlashPay, Singtel Dash); m. any betting transactions (including levy payments to local casinos, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, off-track betting and wagers); n. payments for local transportation; o. payments for petroleum; p. payments to telecommunication companies; q. payments to GrabFood; r. any transactions related to crypto currencies; and s. any other transactions determined by DBS from time to time |

Conclusion
I canโt think of too many people who donโt have a DBS or POSB credit card by now, but if youโre one of them, hereโs a chance to pick up some extra cash while applying.
Iโd certainly be going for a DBS Womanโs World Card (men can apply too) and using it for the first S$2,000 of online spending every month. This will give you 4 mpd on things like Amazon, Lazada, Qoo10, air tickets, hotel bookings (which are paid for online), movie tickets and more.
Your card art for POSB Everyday Card outdated already lahโฆ It was changed some time last year
wait. you keep up with the card art for cashback cards?
thatโs high treason round these parts!
Haha mum owns an Everyday card. Was hard enough just persuading her to get a credit card for the Multiplier account..
The T&C is a bit confuse, charge retail transactions to the Card within 30 days from Card Approval Date and up to a cap of S$220 cashback
It didnโt mention how much to spend or how many times, does it mean just make one eligible transactions to receive the $220 after approval?
Singsaver additional T&C:
Get 100% cashback when you shop and dine, capped at $220, however didnโt stated in DBS T&C
hereโs how it works: whatever you spend in the first 30 days on qualifying transactions, you get back, subject to a cap of S$220.
spend S$250 on dining= get s$220 cashback
spend S$250 on insurance= $0
Thanks Aaron
I read $220 cashback only applicable to retail transactions (within qualifying spend).
Meaning the cashback is not applicable to online transaction (even with qualifying spend)?
online spending IS retail spending, so long as you dont spend on any of the excluded categories
