DBS offering new cardholders S$250 cashback, with no minimum spend

Expired

Apply for a DBS credit card as a new-to-bank customer by 8 March 2021, and get S$250 cashback with just one transaction of any amount.

DBS has launched a new sign-up offer for DBS/POSB credit cards, which runs from now till 8 March 2021.

New-to-bank customers will receive S$250 cashback when they apply with the promo code FLASH250, with no minimum spend required. This isn’t as generous as the previous S$300 cash offer we saw, but there’s no knowing if/when that will return (the usual gift hovers around S$200-250 cash).

⚠️ DBS defines “new-to-bank” as customers who do not currently hold a principal DBS or POSB credit card, and have not done so in the past 12 months

You can read the full T&C of this promotion here.

Conclusion

If you don’t already have a DBS/POSB credit card, this is a good opportunity to consider getting the DBS Woman’s World Card (men can get it too) and using it for the first S$2,000 of online spending every month. Alternatively, the DBS Altitude Visa/AMEX can serve as a good all-round general spending cards, with 3 mpd on online hotel and airfare bookings too.

Remember to submit your applications by end of day on 8 March 2021 to be eligible, and use the code FLASH250.
