New American Express credit card sign-up offer: Get S$200 cash with S$200 spend

From now till 22 December 2021, new-to-bank customers will receive S$200 cash when approved for an AMEX KrisFlyer Credit Card or an AMEX CapitaCard. A minimum spend of S$200 in the first 30 days is required. 

New-to-bank customers approved for an AMEX True Cashback Card will receive S$80 CapitaVouchers on their first spend of at least S$1, and an additional S$120 CapitaVouchers with S$500 spend within the first 30 days. 

Existing AMEX customers will receive S$30 cash via PayNow, with no minimum spend required.

Application Steps

2. You will be directed to a landing page. Enter your email address and click “confirm” (reminder: use the same email address throughout the application process)
3. Complete your application and take a screenshot of the Application Reference Number (for AMEX, it’s in the format 2021xxxxxxxxxxSGD)
4. Fill in the SingSaver rewards form that will be sent to your email. It’s vital you fill in the form– no form, no reward. 

Qualifying Spend

All approved applicants must meet the following minimum spend requirement:

With regards to the minimum spend, AMEX has a list of excluded spending categories here. The key ones to note are: 

• GrabPay top-ups (not excluded for AMEX True Cashback card)
• Insurance
• SPC transactions
• Utilities

For the avoidance of doubt, hospital transactions, donations, and anything else not explicitly stated in the exclusion list will count as eligible spend. 

Gift Fulfillment

All gifts will be fulfilled within 4 months of meeting the qualifying criteria. 

Do note that you will not receive your gift immediately upon meeting the minimum spend- the reason for the delay is the need to confirm eligibility with the bank. Please take note of this timeline before applying, and only apply if you’re willing to wait.
