IHG has launched a 72-hour flash sale for stays of at least two nights at participating hotels in Southeast Asia and South Korea.
Customers who book stays between now and 15 January 2023 will receive 20% off the best flexible rate, and members of the free-to-join IHG One Rewards programme will enjoy a further 20% off for a total saving of 36% (not 40%, because it’s a further 20% off the 20% off price).

From 13-15 January 2023, IHG is offering 20% off stays at participating hotels in Southeast Asia and South Korea.
- Stays must be at least two nights
- Stays must be consumed between 3 February to 30 April 2023
- Bookings must be made at least 21 days in advance of check-in
- Your card will be charged at the time of booking, and bookings are strictly non-refundable
IHG One Rewards members will save a further 20% off the already discounted price, as shown below (the discount is based on the flexible rate that is normally THB 6,000 in this particular example).
This would be a great opportunity to enjoy some of the benefits of your IHG One Diamond status (assuming you hopped on in time), including free breakfast and a potential room upgrade. And while you’re staying, why not enjoy 20% off the F&B bill too with your IHG One membership?
Which hotels are participating?
The full list of participating hotels can be found below. Some of the properties that caught my eye include the Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, Kimpton Kitalay Samui, InterContinental Maldives Maamunagau Resort, and InterContinental Grand Seoul Parnas.
Do note that there’s one dozen hotels participating in Singapore too, which would make this a good option for a March holiday staycation perhaps.

Assuming your stay is charged online at the time of booking (I say “assuming” because sometimes your card may not be charged until check-in, even with these supposedly prepaid rates), you can use the following cards to maximise your miles.
