After missing the entire summer travel season, Marriott Bonvoy has now announced a new global promotion for year-end travel called Earn2Ways.
Registered members who stay at least two nights will earn a flat 2,000 bonus points, or 4,000 bonus points if their stay is at an MGM Collection hotel.
This is far from the most generous promotion we’ve seen, and probably shouldn’t lead you to divert stays from other chains, but if you’re planning to stay with Marriott anyway then you might as well register.

Registration is now open for Marriott Bonvoy’s latest global promotion, which offers:
- 4,000 bonus points on each stay of at least two nights at an MGM Collection property
- 2,000 bonus points on each stay of at least two nights at all other Marriott Bonvoy properties
Do note the following:
- Registration must be done by 12 November 2024
- Stays must be between 10 September to 26 November 2024
- Stays booked before registration will qualify; all that matters is that your check-in and check-out date fall within the promo period
- Award stays, Free Night Awards and Cash + Points Awards don’t count towards this promotion
- Bonus points will post within 10 business days of check-out
There is no cap on the maximum number of bonus points you can earn.
As always, stays must be booked directly with Marriott.com or the hotel’s official website, though luxury travel advisor rates like Virtuoso or Marriott STARS/Luminous will also qualify.
Stays at BVLGARI, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Marriott Executive Apartments, and owner-occupied weeks at Marriott Vacation Club, Grand Residences by Marriott, Marriott Grand Residence Club, Sheraton Vacation Club, Westin Vacation Club, The Ritz-Carlton Club, The St. Regis Residence Club, and The Luxury Collection Residence Club, are not eligible for this promotion.
Is this promotion worth it?
1 Marriott Bonvoy point is worth about 0.7 US cents, so this is equivalent to earning US$14 extra per stay, or US$28 if you’re at an MGM Collection property (which are all located in Las Vegas).
As a reminder, the different Marriott Bonvoy brands are:

Given that the bonus is fixed regardless of stay duration or room rate, this would be more rewarding for those who plan to do numerous short, low-value stays.

Conclusion
Marriott Bonvoy has launched its latest global promotion, but with a mere 4,000 bonus points up for grabs (more realistically 2,000, unless you happen to be heading to Vegas), there’s not a lot here to get the pulse racing.
Go ahead and register just in case, but be on the lookout for other chains’ offers too.
