Hilton Honors has announced the details of its next global promotion called Double Your Stay, which offers 2X points for all stays between 1 January and 30 April 2025.
This begins as soon as the current Power Up promotion ends on 31 December 2024, which means there’ll be no gap between promotions. Hilton is pretty consistent in running back-to-back promotions, even if some of them are rather ordinary.

With the Double Your Stay promotion, registered Hilton Honors members will earn 2X points on all stays, from 1 January and 30 April 2025, staying with the first stay.
Registered members checking in before 1 January 2025 will receive credit for their stay if the stay is completed between 1 January 2025 and 30 April 2025. If you begin a stay during this period but check-in after 30 April 2025, you will not receive the bonus.
Do note the following:
- Registration is required, and must be done prior to starting your first eligible stay (it’s fine if you booked your stays prior to registration)
- No minimum stay length is required; you’ll earn the same bonus whether you stay one night or ten nights
- There is no cap on the maximum bonus points you can earn
- Bonus points will also be granted to award stays, though it will only be on incidentals like dining and spa treatments (since there’s no room rate as such)
- All bonus points will post within 6-8 weeks

Hilton’s current global promotion is called Power Up, and offers registered members an uncapped 2,500 bonus points per stay.
Here’s the key details to note:
- Registration is required, and must be done prior to starting your first eligible stay (it’s fine if you booked your stays prior to registration)
- No minimum stay length is required; you’ll earn the same bonus whether you stay one night or ten nights
- There is no cap on the maximum bonus points you can earn
- Bonus points will also be granted to award stays
- All bonus points will post within 6-8 weeks
This offer is valid for stays till 31 December 2024, and if your check-out date comes after this date, you’ll be earning under the Double Your Stay promo. If you’re on the margins, that might be a reason to extend your stay for a further night (though who knows how much hotels will be charging on NYE?).

In case this promotion doesn’t get you nearly enough points, a reminder that from now till 1 January 2025, 12.59 p.m SGT, Hilton Honors members who buy a minimum of 5,000 points will receive a 100% bonus.
Hilton points usually cost 1 US cent apiece, so a 100% bonus means buying points at 0.5 US cents each. This is the lowest price we ever see offered.
A maximum of 240,000 points (pre-bonus) can be purchased per calendar year, and points can be pooled with up to 10 other members for the purposes of redemption.

Conclusion
Hilton continues its track record of running back-to-back promotions, with members able to earn 2X points for all stays completed between 1 January and 30 April 2025.
This is likely to be a superior promotion to the current 2,500 bonus points, except for those who predominantly stay on award redemptions or very low rates.
In either case, you should definitely register because it just takes a minute.
