Do note that a new condition has been added for gifts for single trip policies, which excludes journeys which only include Malaysia (presumably because some people were buying 1-day policies where the value of the gifts could sometimes exceed the policy cost!).

How much coverage is provided?
In terms of coverage, the My Travel Insurance Superior plan offers up to S$500,000 coverage for accidental death and permanent disablement, up to S$2 million for overseas medical expenses or personal liability, S$20,000 for travel cancellation or curtailment, S$1,000 of rental car excess, as well as COVID-19 protection.
Miles chasers will be pleased to know that the plan also offers up to S$20,000 coverage for the loss of frequent flyer points, in the event your inability to travel leads to them being forfeited (e.g. if you book a KrisFlyer Spontaneous Escapes award, which cannot be refunded, or if youโve booked a hotel with points and are outside the free cancellation window).

How to purchase a plan

Almost bought but remembered to look for the option to pay extra for a pre-existing condition then realized in FAQ: โCan I pay extra to cover pre-existing conditions? No, Chubb Travel Insurance does not have this optionโ. Given how common conditions like hypertension are in adults in Singapore and are considered significant risk factors for illness, one wonders how the claim process will play out if one is hospitalzsed for a non-accident illness while on holiday.
