IHG Rewards has opened registration for its latest global promotion, which runs from 1 October to 31 December 2021.
Registered members can earn up to 3X IHG Rewards points from their third stay onwards.

From 1 October to 31 December 2021, registered IHG Rewards members will earn the following bonuses:
- 2X IHG Rewards points on their second stay
- 3X IHG Rewards points from their third stay onwards
Registration must be made prior to an eligible stay. It doesn’t matter when your booking was made, so long as the stay falls within the promotion period.
As always, award nights don’t qualify towards this promotion, and all paid nights must be booked directly with IHG and be worth at least US$30 per night (before taxes and fees). Bonus points will post within 4-6 weeks after an eligible stay, and the maximum bonus points are capped at 70,000.
How many points will you earn?

1 IHG point is worth roughly 0.5 US cents, so it’s like earning an additional 5% rebate on the second stay, and a 10% rebate from the third stay onwards.
However, you should remember that the bonus is capped at 70,000 points, which is equivalent to US$3,500 of spending at a 3X earn rate.

As a reminder, IHG Rewards is making it easier for members to earn elite status in 2021 by rolling over all qualifying nights from stays in 2020, as well as reducing elite qualifying criteria as follows:

IHG Rewards has already extended all members’ programme status through January 2022 based on the status they earned in 2019.

Sadly, this promotion will have ended by the time the current Hilton Singapore gets reborn as the voco Orchard Singapore (a brand under the IHG umbrella) in January 2022- a transformation I’m keeping close tabs on.
