3 days left: DBS Livefresh spend $500 get $80 promotion

dbslivefresh

There are only 3 days left to take advantage of the DBS Livefresh sign up promotion. Spend $500 within 30 days of card approval (if you already hold existing DBS cards you can go on ibanking and get instant approval) and get $80 back. I did this in November and the cashback posted without fuss

$80 cashback shown here- the additional $34 is from the 6% cashback on online spend (see below)

You need to submit your application by 31st Jan, but remember you’ll have 30 days to incur $500 in spend after approval. $80 back on a $500 spend is really quite good, especially if you spend that $500 online because you get 6% cashback on top of that!

Remember that the DBS LiveFresh earns 1.2 miles per $1 spent on overseas spend, online spend, Visa paywave and ez-link reload. You also get 6% cashback (capped at $100 per month with a min $500 spend) on online spend. This makes it quite a handy card to have, if you’re not able to qualify for the higher income requirement cards.

All in all, a great deal and 3 days left to jump on it.

Remember that the DBS Livefresh comes in a student version as well, which is a great way to start earning miles if you’re still studying.

    1. I hesitate to say yes unequivocally because i’ve not tried it myself, but I would imagine the same rules for DBS woman’s card apply here. if nothing else i would go and try it – worse come to worse you just have $500 extra in your imagine card.

  1. 1.2 miles on ez link reload? I am thinking of chalking up miles as I used by ezlink card. Is this card the better choice among others?

    1. unless you’re able to take advantage of the dbs altitude first 6 month promo (where you get double miles on local spending) then yes I think it’s one of the better choices

      1. I dig around the web and found out a better alternative for travelling with ez-link. The blog post here suggested to use DBS Woman card and register for auto top up service on the nets flashpay or ezlink cards. Each auto top up will earns 4 miles per dollar as according to the post found in the link.

Only cons to this option is that, it is less useful for anyone who can clocked that 2k spending on DBS Woman every month; but it is possible can always switch to the 2 miles per dollar DBS Woman card to continue to earn points on top of the 2k spending.

Net Flash Pay can also be use for meals at certain air-conditioned coffee shops, ERP gantries and carparks.

Do note that the auto top up with DBS woman does not work for debit cards equipped with netflash pay. Also, HSBC Advance VISA is not possible to be used for registration with netflash pay ATU Service.
