The current Circuit Breaker means that hotel restaurants have had to start offering takeaway promotions too.ย Accor announced a bonus points offer for takeaway orders earlier this month, and now it’s Marriott’s turn.ย
From 22 April to 31 July 2020 (do they know something about the Circuit Breaker that we don’t?), Marriott Bonvoy members can earn 10 points per US$1 spent on takeaways, as well as up to a 30% discount.ย
The following restaurants are participating:
Property | Restaurant | Discount |
St Regis Singapore | Brasserie Les Saveurs | 10% off |
LaBrezza | 10% off | |
Yan Ting | 10% off | |
JW Marriott South Beach | Akira Back | 20% off |
Madame Fan | 20% offย | |
W Singapore Sentosa Cove | SKIRT | N/A |
The Kitchen Table | N/A | |
Sheraton Towers Singapore | The Dining Room | 15% off |
Li Bai Cantonese Restaurant | 15% off | |
Marriott Singapore Tang Plaza | Crossroads | 30% off |
Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant | 30% off |
Unlike the Accor Hotels promotion, thisย does notย apply to takeaways ordered through 3rd party platforms like Deliveroo and GrabFood. You’ll need to order directly with the hotel via its Oddle page (see below) or on the phone.
A minimum spend of US$10 (~S$14.25) is required to earn points, and points may take up to seven business days to post to your account. Points are awarded for F&B spending only (i.e not on taxes or delivery fees), and no further member dining discounts apply.
Marriott Bonvoy points retail for as low as 0.83 US cents each, so 10 points per US$1 is equivalent to an 8.3% rebate (though keep in mind you might value Bonvoy points lower than their purchase price).

Conclusion
It’s hardly the most economical option, but if you were considering these restaurants you might as well get some bonus points out of it. These also count as account activity to keep your balance from expiring, but in any case, Marriott has suspended all points expiry until February 2021.

What does delivery charge not available mean? And am I right to think the hotels are out of their minds to charge $25-30 for delivery?
means delivery is not offered.
