Regent Singapore selling staycation vouchers at 50% off

Buy staycation vouchers at the Regent Singapore for 50% off, with 12 months validity

Update: Regent Hotel has clarified that due to an error, staycation packages were selling at S$330 and S$498 nett when they should have been selling at S$330++ and S$498++. Pricing has been updated on the site. Regent will honor all packages bought at the lower rates.

Regent Singapore, a member of IHG hotels,  is currently selling staycation and dining vouchers at up to 50% off. These are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Some of these deals sound pretty good, so be sure to read through the details below.

Super Long Foodie Escapade (S$330++)

The Super Long Foodie Escapade package retails at S$330++, and includes:

  • Classic room for 1-night accommodation
  • Complimentary upgrade to the Regent Club Premium Room (subject to availability)
  • $288 nett dining credit for redemption at Regent Singapore’s outlets (excluding Tenshin, Seoul and Park90)
  • Check-in as early as 8 am and checkout as late as 8 pm
  • Maximum occupancy for the rooms is 2

Given what hotel occupancy rates are now, I see no issues with the early check-in and late check-out, and the dining credit you receive is a good proportion of the total cost.

What’s more, you’ll get an upgrade to a Club room, which means free breakfast and the usual evening cocktail spread.

Family Fun Upgrade (S$330++)

The Family Fun Upgrade package retails at S$330++, and includes:

  • One Classic room for 1-night accommodation
  • Complimentary upgrade to the Executive Suite (subject to availability)
  • Complimentary connecting room if families are checking-in with children under 12 years
  • Two complimentary breakfasts at Basilico for children under 12 years
  • $200 nett dining credit for redemption at Regent Singapore’s outlets (excluding Tenshin, Seoul and Park90)
  • Check-in as early as 8 am and checkout as late as 8 pm
  • Maximum occupancy for two rooms is 4

If I’ve read this correctly, you basically get two rooms, provided your kids are of the right age. Breakfast for children is free, but the adults will have to pay for theirs out of the S$200 dining credit.

Through the Generations (S$498++)

The Through the Generations package retails at S$498++, and includes:

  • Two Classic rooms for a 1-night stay
  • Complimentary upgrade to the Executive Suite for 1 room (subject to availability)
  • Complimentary 3rd connecting room for families checking-in with children under 12 years
  • Two complimentary breakfasts at Basilico for children under 12 years
  • $300 nett dining credit for redemption at Regent Singapore’s outlets (excluding Tenshin, Seoul and Park90)
  • Check-in as early as 8 am and checkout as late as 8 pm
  • Maximum occupancy for three rooms is 6

Another interesting deal, where you could get up to three rooms (one suite, two classic) and $300 of dining credit.

  • Summer Palace Lunch Tasting Menu For Two ($132 $105.60)
  • Weekend High Tea & Tea Blending ($160 $128)
  • Weekday Afternoon Tea & Tea Blending (($111 $88)
  • Basilico Sunday Brunch For Two ($264 $211.20)
  • Cheese And Wine Pairing Experience For Two ($137 $109.60)

Conclusion

It’s still not clear when staycations will be allowed again as Singapore reopens in phases following the Circuit Breaker, but they’ll surely be possible within the next 12 months. I personally am tempted by the foodie staycation package, and will probably pull the trigger on that.

I’m not sure how these transactions will code, as they seem to be processed on a separate site called restaurants.sg. They should code as online transactions, but I’m not sure whether it’ll be under the hotel MCC.

If you’re curious about the Regent Singapore stay experience, you can read a report over on The Shutterwhale of a stay in a renovated Premium Club room last November.

Does an upgrade to club room means that it comes with club access.? I know that’s not always true when it’s IHG.

Renkai

Any idea if we are able to earn IHG Rewards Points for the Super Long Foodie Escapade pacakge?

sammy

Thanks for sharing, already bought and willing to taste the summer palace.

How many vouchers will you buy?

Chris

Sadly, the prices have become ++ now

Andy

Hello, is it $330 Nett? Because i think there is extra charges amounting to $388

Raymond Wee

Anyone know for the food vouchers, are they only valid for use during the stay (if so, it is kind of wasteful with the club benefits)?

Q L

yes would like to know too. Even thou the staycation foodie package price has increase from $330 to $388, it’s still a good deal with the $288 dining credits.

Cp thor

Which credit card should I use for the promotion?

Daryl

Just checking if anybody received the vouchers yet (is it en e-voucher or phyiscal hardcopy voucher?)? Because I bought the super foodie one and didn’t receive it..
