World of Hyatt offering elite qualifying nights or Cat 1-4 free night award for hotel dining

From 27 October to 18 December 2026, targeted members can earn elite qualifying nights or a Cat 1-4 free night award from F&B spend in Singapore and Asia Pacific.

World of Hyatt has launched a new pair of targeted offers for hotel dining, which offer members elite qualifying nights or a Category 1-4 free night award for spending on food & beverage across Asia Pacific.

The minimum spend required starts from US$1,000, so it won’t be for everyone, but if you’re already planning a year-end party or festive gathering, holding it at a participating Hyatt venue could earn you a nice bonus, on top of your usual credit card miles.

Targeted World of Hyatt members can register to earn elite qualifying nights or a Category 1-4 free night certificate, based on their food and beverage purchases from 27 October to 18 December 2026.

World of Hyatt members targeted for the elite qualifying nights offer will earn one elite qualifying night for every US$1,000 in F&B spending at participating properties, capped at 10 qualifying nights.

World of Hyatt members targeted for the free night award offer will earn one Category 1-4 certificate when they spend at least US$1,500 on F&B at participating outlets, capped at one certificate.

This offer is valid at participating outlets across the following countries.

In Singapore, this offer can be enjoyed at the following hotels and dining venues.

Hotel Restaurants
  • 10|Scotts
  • Le Pristine
  • Oasis
  • Pete’s Place
  • StraitsKitchen
  • 5 on 25
  • 665°F
  • Alley on 25
  • Mr Stork
  • Wu Yue Ting (5 on 25)
  • Cafe Standard
  • Kaya at The Standard

Spending can be across one or more transactions, or even one or more outlets/countries for that matter.

However, do note that charges billed to a guest room or folio are ineligible, so be sure to make payment at the F&B outlet directly, even if you’re staying at the hotel.

Furthermore, if you’re planning to booze it up, alcohol charges will only count as eligible spend in Australia, China and Japan (New Zealand too — though it’s not one of the participating countries in this promotion).

When will the elite nights/free night award be credited?

Elite qualifying nights earned under this promotion will be credited within 2-3 weeks. They will apply to 2026 status, even if issued in 2027.

Free night awards earned under this promotion will also be credited within 2-3 weeks.

Is it worth it?

The spending thresholds are definitely on the high side, so I wouldn’t go out of my way to earn these. That said, if you’re already planning to throw a party, then this might be the nudge to plan it at a participating Hyatt venue.

It’s hard to put a value on elite qualifying nights, but a free night at a Category 4 property can cost as much as 25,000 points, based on the new award chart that went into effect earlier this year.

When in doubt, check the MCC before paying!

Conclusion

World of Hyatt members should check their app or inbox to see if they’ve been targeted for a year-end dining promotion, which offers elite qualifying nights or a Category 1-4 free night award for F&B spending at participating venues.

With the minimum spend ranging from US$1,000 to US$1,500, this probably won’t be realistic for most members. But if you’ve got a big event to host, this may tilt the balance in favour of Hyatt.

Do remember to register before you spend, and pay at the outlet instead of billing it to a room.

How did you get to know about all these offers? As a Hyatt Globalist member for many years, I didn’t get to see this nor quite a few other Hyatt offers previously. Anyway, thanks for the link in your post, I was able to register successfully for the offer. 🙂
