Park Hotel Group offering up to 50% bonus on gift card purchases

Park Hotel Group is currently offering up to a 50% bonus on gift card purchases, which can be used for any stay through 31 December 2021.

Under this promotion, the bonus you receive depends on the value you buy, and whether you’re a Park Rewards member. It’s free to join the Park Rewards program, so you’ll obviously want to do that if you’re thinking of buying. 

The 50% bonus is available up till 18 June 2020, 12 p.m SGT. After this, the bonus will max out at 40% until 28 June 2020, 11.59 p.m SGT.

Gift cards can be used at all Park Hotels worldwide, with no blackout dates. There is no need to use the entire value of the gift card at once, and any unused value can be retained for the future. 

Your gift card value must be fully used by December 31, 2021. 

One annoyance is that the booking process seems to be very manual. To use these gift cards, you’ll need to submit a booking request through this glorified Google Docs form, at least 3 days in advance of your stay (14 days if you’re staying at the Grand Park Kodhipparu, Maldives). Gift cards can be used to book any rate available on parkhotelgroup.com, but your stay won’t be confirmed immediately.

Conclusion

I’m expecting we’ll see a good number of staycation deals once the restrictions are lifted, and this could be a chance to save a further 33% off those rates.
