UOB Lady’s Card members: Turn your spending into one of 20 RWS staycation packages

Register and spend from 1 Nov to 31 Dec 20 to win one of 20 staycation packages; earn one chance per S$50 spent.

The UOB Lady’s Card is one of the most flexible rewards cards on the market, thanks to the ability to choose a different bonus category every quarter. It’s certainly a no brainer to have, if you possess all the right bits (unlike the gender-neutral DBS Woman’s World Card, only females can apply for a principal or supplementary UOB Lady’s Card).

To sweeten the deal, UOB is now giving away 20 3D2N staycation packages at Resorts World Sentosa to UOB Lady’s Card members, with your chances of winning increasing the more you spend.

Lucky draw chances will be accumulated throughout the promotion period, and the draw will be conducted on 12 February 2021. Winners will be informed by 26 February 2021, and names will be published on UOB’s website.

What’s the prize?

Each of the 20 winners will receive a Resorts World Sentosa 3D2N Multi Attraction Package, which consists of the following:

  • 2 night stay at Hotel Michael Deluxe Room or Equarius Hotel Deluxe Room
  • Daily breakfast for 2 adults
  • Universal Studios Singapore tickets for 2 adults
  • S.E.A Aquarium Tickets for 2 adults

Between Hotel Michael and Equarius Hotel, I think the latter looks more appealing. It’s the more expensive of the two, and rooms are larger (37 sqm vs 51 sqm).

Each eligible cardmember is only entitled to win one gift under this promotion.

What spending is excluded?

Certain transactions will not be eligible to earn lucky draw chances. UOB has provided a full list at point 1.4.2 of the T&Cs, but here are a few noteworthy exclusions:

  • Revolut, YouTrip, GrabPay, WeChat Pay or Alipay top-ups
  • Insurance
  • Educational institutions
  • PayPal
  • Charitable donations
  • Utilities bills

Frankly, you wouldn’t be using the UOB Lady’s Card for most of these anyway, so it’s no big loss. Just watch out for the PayPal exclusion, which seems to also exclude merchant accounts- a shame, given how it’s the medium of choice for a lot of smaller online retailers.

Conclusion

Since the UOB Lady’s Card is likely to be one of your day-to-day spending cards anyway, do take a minute to register and throw your hat into the ring. There might be a nice surprise waiting for you come February.

Remember that you need to spend at least S$50 in a single transaction to earn a chance, so break up your transactions accordingly if needed.
