From now till 31 December 2020, American Express is running a very generous offer for dining at hotels in the Pan Pacific Hotels Group. Registered cardholders will receive S$50 back on a S$100 transaction for either dine-in or takeaway. This is limited to the first 8,000 registered cards, so act fast.
Like all AMEX Offers, this may be targeted, so if you don’t see it in the AMEX app or in your AMEX online portal it means you’re not eligible.

AMEX Pan Pacific Hotel dining offer
Registered cardholders who spend S$100 or more in a single transaction at participating Pan Pacific Group dining locations by 31 December 2020 will receive a S$50 credit.
This is limited to one credit per card, but if you have multiple American Express cards, you can register them to enjoy the offer as many times as you have cards.

Takeaway orders will need to be placed via telephone or email and physically paid for at the restaurant. This offer is not valid for online orders placed via the e-store, presumably because the MCC will be different.

If you happen to be staying at one of these hotels, do note that the offer will not apply if you charge your dining bill to the room. All payments must be charged directly within the restaurant.
The statement credit should appear in your account within 5 business days from qualifying spend, but may take up to 90 days from the end of the offer date. Most of the times they’re very fast though, so you don’t have to worry.
Stack with Pan Pacific’s 30% off offer
To make your dining credit go even further, stack it with the ongoing Pan Pacific dining offer. From 1 November to 30 December 2020, members of the free-to-join DISCOVERY program will enjoy 30% off the bill at participating hotels and restaurants across Singapore (see the full list at the bottom of this page)
This does not apply to set menus, takeaway items and alcoholic beverages, and the offer at Pan Pacific Singapore is only applicable for weekday a la carte buffet lunch and dinner at Edge, and weekday a la carte menu at Hai Tien Lo and Keyaki.
Remember: the statement credit is processed on the back end by American Express, so all that matters is the nett charge to your card (after all taxes and the 30% discount) is at least S$100.
