Shangri-La Golden Circle has launched a double points promotion, which runs from 21 June to 31 August 2021.
During this period, all qualifying stays at Shangri-La, Kerry, JEN and Traders hotels worldwide will earn double points, with no cap on the maximum bonus that can be earned. This offer conveniently overlaps with the ongoing one for double elite nights, which ends on 31 July 2021.

No registration is required for this offer- so long as your stay dates fall between 21 June to 31 August 2021, you’ll receive double points automatically.
Qualifying stays exclude those made through third party sites (e.g OTAs), long stay rates, and GC award nights. Luxury Circle rates booked through agents like HoteLux and Classic Travel will be eligible.

As mentioned earlier, Shangri-La Golden Circle has a concurrent offer for double elite nights at all Shangri-La, Kerry, JEN and Trader’s hotels worldwide. This offer runs till 31 July 2021.
Qualifying for Golden Circle Jade and Diamond usually requires 20 and 50 nights respectively in a calendar year, so you could qualify by staying 10 and 25 nights during this period. However, it’s worth noting that Jade and Diamond can also be attained with 10 and 25 stays respectively, so you’re really in no different a position had all your stays been just one night long.

Both Jade and Diamond members also enjoy enhanced rates when redeeming GC points for F&B credit. The rate is usually 10 GC points= US$1, but Jade and Diamond members enjoy 25% more value.

The double tier nights offer may be particularly interesting for AMEX Platinum Charge cardholders. Jade membership ceased to be a benefit of the AMEX Platinum Charge on 1 April 2021, and members already holding Jade status will need to requalify in accordance with the usual T&Cs.
My membership expires on 31 December 2021, which means I’ll need to clock nights during the current calendar year if I wish to requalify (if you only registered for the Jade benefit this year, your status should be valid till 31 December 2022).
