Kris+ is giving its earn rates a major boost for the next three months.
From now till 30 November 2021, Kris+ users will earn up to 9 mpd at 229 dining and retail merchants. Stack that with the usual 4 mpd from credit cards, and youโre looking at 13 mpd totalโ a very tidy return indeed.

Kris+ refers to this as a 6% rebate offer, but donโt get confused. Thatโs based on the value youโd receive if you spent the miles earned through Kris+ (1 mile= 0.67 cents, so 9 mpd is a 6% rebate).
Obviously, you want to shepherd these miles into your KrisFlyer account the moment theyโre earned, and no later than seven days- after which theyโre stuck in Kris+ forever!
Kris+ All-Day Bonus Earn campaign
From 27 August to 30 November 2021, Kris+ is upsizing its partner earn rates according to the following table:

Whatโs so incredible about this promotion not just the sheer number of participating outlets (229), but the distribution. 44% are offering the highest earn rate of 9 mpd, while 55% are offering 6 mpd.
Thereโs only two laggards offering 3 mpd, Harvey Norman and Challenger, and considering their usual anemic earn rates of 0.3 mpd and 0.5 mpd respectively, this is still a big upgrade.

You must use in-app payments
Kris+ recently added in-app support for Apple and Google Pay, and you must use in-app payments in order to enjoy the bonus miles under this promotion.

The traditional, offline earning way is to make payment as usual with cash or a credit/debit card, then generate a QR code in the Kris+ app for the merchant to scan and award you miles.
The new in-app earning method does away with the last step. Kris+ users simply scan the merchantโs QR code, make an in-app payment via Apple/Google Pay, and earn miles automatically.

While youโd normally use the UOB Preferred Platinum Visa or UOB Visa Signature with Apple/Google Pay to earn 4 mpd, this does not apply to in-app payments. The T&Cs state very clearly you need to tap the mobile device against the contactless reader to qualify, which doesnโt happen with in-app payments.
It was easy enough to circumvent the issue with the offline method by tapping your mobile device to pay and then generating a QR code to earn Kris+ miles, that option wonโt be available come 1 September.
Earn Elite miles or PPS Value
Singapore Airlines recently launched a new campaign that allows KrisFlyer and PPS Club members to earn Elite miles or PPS Value without flying.
Spending on Kris+ is one such avenue, and members will earn status credits as follows:

Conclusion
This is a mighty generous promotion from Kris+, with so many participating merchants and the vast majority in the 6 and 9 mpd range. 6 mpd (+4 mpd more from credit cards) at Bottles & Bottles? Itโs time to stock up the cellar.

Out of curiosity, how long did it take them to award you your miles? Iโve experienced an app crash when paying with the Kris+ app and my transaction earned 0 miles from Kris+. Iโve written in to KF Membership Services, but thereโs no further update for 2 weeks after the first acknowledgement.
took about 3 weeks to get it sorted.
You could pay via the the in-app Gpay method to pay and earn miles instead, since that relies on you scanning their Kris+ QR code sticker rather than them using their machine to scan your app.
But they will need their machine to verify you paid, from what I understand.
