Klook 7th Birthday Sale: 1-for-1 Accor staycations and S$70K prize pool

To mark its 7th anniversary, Klook is running a birthday sale from 27 August to 3 October 2021. 

During this period, they’ll be giving away S$70,000 worth of birthday gifts, special promo codes and weekly 1-for-1 staycation deals.

As always, packages are eligible for SRV, and those who spend at least S$50 of SRV will receive a S$50 Klook voucher for a future staycation (valid with min. spend of S$200). Don’t forget to stack these with bank promo codes for further savings. 

Klook Koin Chase

The Klook Koin Chase (thank heavens someone had the good sense not to add an additional ‘K’) is your key to winning a share of the S$70,000 birthday gift pool, which includes prizes such as a 2-night Dream Cruise, an Andaz Large Suite and a Fullerton Bay Premier Bay View Room. 

Klook customers unlock a Koin with every S$50 spent on Klook:

What’s nice is that all spend amounts are before applying any SRV, promo codes, Klook credits and/or e-gift cards. For example, if my gross amount is S$150 but I pay S$100 after discounts, I’ll earn coins based on S$150.

Spending is also cumulative throughout the promotion period. If I spend S$30 today and S$40 tomorrow, I’ll get one Koin (based on S$50 spend). In other words, every dollar counts. 

Collect all 5 Koins, and you’ll be in the running for a prize. Paying with a UOB card earns a 1.5X booster on spending, as does booking any activity from the Birthday Best List. 

Klook 1-for-1 staycations

Here’s a summary of Klook’s 1-for-1 offers, all from the Accor group. 

One important thing to note, however. Accor is running a parallel flash sale with slightly lower rates. 

For example, I can find 2 nights in a Fairmont Room with breakfast and 25% off F&B at S$299++ (S$352 nett; a further 10% off is available to Accor Plus members). That’s S$35 cheaper than what Klook has. 

Likewise, the Grand Mercure Roxy is offering 2 nights in a Superior Room with breakfast and 25% off F&B at S$170++ (S$200 nett; a further 10% off is available to Accor Plus members). This is $18 cheaper than Klook’s rate.
