American Express has launched a new AMEX Offer for AMEX Singapore Airlines credit card holders, which allows them to earn up to 3.3 mpd with selected food delivery and ride-hailing merchants.
Registration is required, and can be done via the AMEX app or AMEX online banking portal. A maximum of 10,000 cards can be registered.

Earn up to 3.3 mpd on food delivery & ride-hailing
From now till 30 June 2022, AMEX Singapore Airlines credit card holders will earn an additional 2 mpd on in-app or online transactions with Gojek, Deliveroo and Foodpanda as follows:

The offer is valid Gojek ride hailing, or Deliveroo and Foodpanda pick-ups or deliveries made within Singapore and paid in Singapore dollars only.
The bonus component is capped at S$500 of spending throughout the entire campaign period. In other words, the maximum bonus you can earn is 1,000 KrisFlyer miles.
As a reminder, all Grab transactions charged to AMEX Singapore Airlines cards already earn a bonus 2 mpd as an evergreen benefit, capped at S$200 per calendar month.
Bonus miles will be credited within 5 business days from qualifying spend, but may take up to 90 days from the end of the offer date. In practice, they post very fast though.

What are the alternatives?
Even with the upsized earn rate, the AMEX Singapore Airlines credit cards aren’t the best options to use for food delivery and ride-hailing.
Instead, you can earn 4 mpd with the following cards:

Other alternatives include the UOB Lady’s Card or UOB Lady’s Solitaire Card, though you’ll need to choose dining or transport as your quarterly bonus category in order to earn 4 mpd on food delivery or ride-hailing respectively.
Conclusion
Registered AMEX cardholders can earn up to 3.3 mpd on food delivery and ride-hailing until 30 June 2022, capped at S$500 for the entire promotional period.
It still doesn’t make them the best cards to use for this category, but if you fall into the “one card for everything” camp, or have maxed out the caps on your 4 mpd cards, it’s a useful option to have.
