Accor calculates the bonus points based on Classic status, which is why it’s a flat 75 points (3×25) per €10, regardless of tier. Therefore, this offer is more accurately described as “up to 4X” points, since that’s only the case if you’re a Classic member.

2,000 Accor points can be redeemed for €40 off a stay, so you’re looking at up to a 23.8% rebate, depending on your tier.

No minimum stay is required, but this offer can be enjoyed a maximum of once. The first stay booked and completed following registration will earn the bonus (do note that unlike similar promotions run by other hotel chains, you must book your stay after registration).

There is no cap on the maximum number of bonus points that can be earned, and all points will be credited within 10 days of check out (in two separate batches- one for base, one for bonus).

The full T&C can be found on the registration page.

Participating hotels

While this is labelled as an offer for “brand new hotels”, in reality it’s a mix. Some are new, but others, like Swissotel The Stamford in Singapore, have just reopened after a long period of closure.

Conclusion

Mercure Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie

Accor is offering up to 4X points for registered members staying at new and newly-reopened hotels. Depending on your status with Accor, it’s anywhere from a 20-24% rebate.

It’s a good opportunity to pick up some bonus points, but remember that it can only be used once.
