Singapore Airlines has announced the inaugural KrisFlyer Fest, a carnival featuring food, games and activities, with prizes up for grabs through quizzes and lucky draws. The first edition will take place at Jewel Changi Airport on 23 & 24 June 2023, dovetailing nicely with the end of the school holidays.

KrisFlyer Fest will be held next weekend at Jewel Changi Airport’s Cloud9 Piazza. This is a nice little spot (well, not so little- it takes about 400 people standing) that overlooks the Rain Vortex, and has been used to host other events like the annual Glampcation packages.
Here’s an idea of what to expect.

All payments at KrisFlyer Fest will be made via the Kris+ app, with a fixed rate of 9 mpd on offer. You ought to know the drill by now- pair the app with the right credit card to earn a bonus 3-6 mpd.
I’d recommend in particular that you pay with a Mastercard (e.g. DBS WWMC, Citi Rewards + Amaze, UOB Lady’s Card or KrisFlyer UOB Card) in order to earn chances for the lucky draw (see below).
We don’t know the line up of merchants yet, but I sure hope there’s airplane-themed food for all those who missed 2020’s Inside Singapore Airlines.
Redeem a mystery gift
On arrival, be sure to collect your KrisFlyer Fest Passport. Completing activities earns you stamps, and a completed passport (four stamps) can be exchanged for a mystery gift.
Whatever this gift is, it’s limited to the first 1,500 redemptions per day.
Sure-win quizzes
Quizzes will take place throughout the day on the main stage, with prizes including 10,000 KrisFlyer miles, an SIA Poker Set by KrisShop, limited edition Pokรฉmon x Scoot merchandise, KrisPay miles and more. Participants will also walk away with an exclusive KrisFlyer merchandise goodie bag.
If I were the quizmaster, I’d set questions like: what percentage of KrisFlyer waitlists eventually clear, where did the hot towels go, and will the new Business Class seats on the B777X have doors?
You know, simple stuff everyone should know.
Lucky draw
KrisFlyer Fest will be running a lucky draw with prizes like KrisFlyer & KrisPay miles, Pelago & Scoot vouchers, and various hotel stays to be won.
To participate, you’ll need to register for the KrisFlyer Fest Lucky Draw Challenge in the Challenges section of the app.
Once registered, make 2x Kris+ payment transactions of at least S$10 each using a Mastercard debit or credit card (via Apple or Google Pay) at any participating booth at KrisFlyer Fest.
You can earn up to two bonus chances when you complete either of these activities on 23 & 24 June 2023:
- Make a booking on Pelago (via Kris+) using a Mastercard debit/credit card
- Make a purchase on KrisShop (via Kris+) using a Mastercard debit/credit card
In other words, the maximum chances you can earn is three.

Conclusion
The inaugural edition of KrisFlyer Fest takes place next weekend, and I’m personally planning to head down on the first day. If any of you are planning to visit, do come and say hi (and if you mean me bodily harm, know that I am highly adept at curling into a ball and voiding my bowels as a defence mechanism)
It could be an informal sort of MileLion community gathering- goodness knows we’re overdue for one!
