Accor Live Limitless and KrisFlyer offering 50% conversion bonus

From now till 30 September 2024, get a 50% bonus on conversions between KrisFlyer and Accor Live Limitless in either direction.

Singapore Airlines and Accor recently expanded their partnership to offer two-way conversions between KrisFlyer and Accor Live Limitless (ALL). Members can now transfer miles or points in either direction, albeit at a very poor ratio.

For what it’s worth, the two programmes have now announced a 50% transfer bonus that runs from now till 30 September 2024. This boosts the value somewhat, though it’s still not what I’d call a good deal.

Transfer KrisFlyer miles to Accor Live Limitless points with a 50% bonus

9 miles 2 points

Min conversion block: 4,500 KrisFlyer miles

From 17-30 September 2024, all transfers of KrisFlyer miles to ALL points will receive a 50% bonus, which boosts the conversion ratio to 9 miles = 3 points.

Here’s the key points to note:

  • A minimum transfer of 4,500 KrisFlyer miles is required
  • Conversions are free of charge
  • Conversions are processed instantly
  • A maximum of 180,000 KrisFlyer miles can be converted to ALL points per calendar year

Conversions from KrisFlyer to ALL can only be done between 6 a.m and 11.59 p.m Singapore time each day, presumably due to routine maintenance.

Is it worth it?

ALL points have a fixed value of 2,000 points = €40 (~S$58), or 2.9 cents per point.

With a 9:3 transfer ratio, you are essentially cashing out your KrisFlyer miles at 0.97 cents each, which is certainly better than normal, but not as good as an award flight redemption.

Do note that many of the values in the table above are temporarily boosted due the KrisFlyer Miles Paradise campaign, which ends on 30 September 2024.

Transfer Accor Live Limitless points to KrisFlyer miles with a 50% bonus

ALL points KrisFlyer miles
2 points 1 mile
1.5 miles
Min conversion block: 2,000 ALL points

From 17-30 September 2024, all transfers of ALL points to KrisFlyer miles will receive a 50% bonus, which boosts the conversion ratio to 2 points= 1.5 miles.

There is no cap on the maximum number of ALL points you can convert to KrisFlyer each year, and you can even opt for automatic conversion so that every time you earn ALL points they’re automatically transferred to KrisFlyer. However, there’s no reason why you’d want to do this, given the poor value.

Is it worth it?

Hard no.

Even with the 50% conversion bonus, you’re giving up S$58 worth of hotel points for 1,500 KrisFlyer miles, so unless you value a mile at more than 3.9 cents, this is a complete non-starter.

Terms & Conditions

The T&Cs for this 50% transfer bonus can be found here.

How to transfer

To transfer KrisFlyer miles to ALL points, login to your account, then click on Miles > How To Use. Scroll down until you see the ALL- Accor Live Limitless option, and complete the form.

For transfers from ALL points to KrisFlyer miles, login to your ALL account and visit this page.

Your names must match on both KrisFlyer and ALL for transfers to be processed.

Conclusion

Singapore Airlines and Accor are now offering a 50% transfer bonus for transfers in either direction between KrisFlyer miles and Accor Live Limitless points, valid till 30 September 2024.

Sadly, it’s still a mediocre rate in the direction of KrisFlyer to ALL, and an abysmal rate in the direction from ALL to KrisFlyer. There’s very little reason for anyone to take part in this, other than burning a handful of expiring orphan miles or points.

If you really want to earn ALL points, there are better ways of doing so like Max Miles transfers or the occasional HSBC transfer bonus.
