Kris+ has launched a new promotion for the upcoming Chinese New Year season, which offers an extra 500 KrisFlyer miles with a minimum spend of S$250 at 51 restaurants and restaurant chains across Singapore.
This bonus is offered on top of the regular earning and credit card points, so in an optimal scenario where you spend exactly S$250 at a 9 mpd restaurant with the right card, you’d take home 15 mpd in total (9 mpd from the app, 2 mpd from the promotion, 4 mpd from the credit card).

Kris+ Feast for Bonus Miles
From 2 January to 12 February 2025, Kris+ is offering an extra 500 KrisFlyer miles for the first transaction of at least S$250 at the following restaurants and restaurant chains. The S$250 minimum spend refers to nett spend, so service charge and GST is included in the figure.

The 500 bonus miles is only awarded once per S$250 spend per partner, regardless of how many outlets the partner has. For example, if you were to dine at two locations of Beauty in The Pot and spent S$250 each time, you would only receive a single 500 miles bonus.
However, there’s nothing stopping you from visiting different brands within the same group and accruing the bonus, so someone who dines at Paradise Classic and Paradise Dynasty can earn 500 bonus miles for each visit, subject to meeting the minimum spend.
Do note that registration is required for this offer, which can be done by tapping on the Feast For Bonus Miles banner on the Kris+ homepage and then on “start challenge”. There is no maximum cap on registrations for this deal.
When will the bonus be credited?
Kris+ users will initially earn the regular number of miles on their purchases.
The 500 bonus miles will be credited to their Kris+ wallet within 14 days after the end of the promotion period, i.e. by 26 February 2025.
These miles can be transferred to your KrisFlyer account, but only if you do so within 21 days of crediting. So if you intend to participate in this promotion, set yourself a calendar reminder and make the transfer as soon as those bonus miles show up.

What card to use for Kris+ dining?
Kris+ transactions code as online spend, and generally retain the MCC of the underlying merchant.
This means you can use the following cards to maximise the miles earned on Kris+ dining merchants.

If you intend to use the HSBC Revolution, UOB Lady’s Cards or UOB Preferred Platinum Visa, do note that each of them has a slightly different definition of dining. If the Kris+ restaurant does not fall under one of the whitelisted MCCs, you won’t earn any bonuses.

The safest option therefore is to stick with the DBS Woman’s World Card or Citi Rewards + Amaze pairing for a guaranteed 4 mpd, or else confirm the MCC before spending.
Stack extra miles from reservation portals
If you’re planning to take advantage of this promotion, don’t forget to stack extra miles by making your reservation via Kris+. At the top of the Kris+ homepage is a button labelled “Reserve A Table”, which lets you earn an extra 100 KrisFlyer miles per completed reservation.
Alternatively, you can book your table via Quandoo, which is currently offering 150 KrisFlyer miles per reservation booked and fulfilled by 10 January 2025 (upsized from the usual 100 KrisFlyer miles).
Of course, not every single participating restaurant or restaurant chain can be booked this way, but it’s always worth checking!
Conclusion
From now till 12 February 2025, Kris+ users can earn an extra 500 KrisFlyer miles on their festive dining at participating restaurants, on top of the usual Kris+ earnings and credit card miles.
You’re limited to earning a single bonus per restaurant or restaurant chain, but you can visit multiple partners during the promotional period and rack up the miles that way. The main hurdle here is the S$250 minimum spend, though I imagine this promotion has office and reunion meals in mind.
Since the bonus posts separately from the base miles, be sure to revisit the Kris+ app at the end of the promotion period to transfer the bonus miles to KrisFlyer!
