One of my favourite pre-flight rituals when flying from Changi is to grab a free meal (please, anything but Asian Street Kitchen) and enjoy a complimentary massage — all covered by my Priority Pass or DragonPass. It sure beats fighting the crowds at one of the underwhelming contract lounges which — as the food bloggers like to say — never fails to disappoint.
Unfortunately, there’ll be one less option for getting your feet rubbed from early November, as crowd-favourite TranSpa throws in the (hot) towel.
TranSpa to permanently close in November 2026

According to an update on the Priority Pass website, TranSpa will be closing permanently from 2 November 2026.
It appears that this is related to the closure of the Ambassador Transit Hotel (both TranSpa and Ambassador are operated by Harliela Hospitality, which also owns the Crystal Jade, Chutney Mary and Kaveri Indian Vegetarian outlets at Changi Airport), whose lobby TranSpa occupies.
A new operator called Changi Transit Hotel (top marks for naming effort) will take its place on 3 November 2026. Changi Transit Hotel previously took over Aerotel’s operations in Terminal 1 in June 2026, and will take over the Ambassador Transit Hotel in Terminal 3 from 1 October 2026.

Until then, TranSpa will continue operating from 11 a.m to 9 p.m daily. Priority Pass and DragonPass members will still be able to enjoy their regular entitlement: a 20-minute head-and-shoulder/foot massage, together with a shower and welcome drink.
It feels like this closure has been a long time coming though, given that the outlet often struggled with manpower.
While on paper, lounge pass members had a choice of three treatments, the manicure option has been in a permanent state of unavailability ever since 2024 (not that I need one; my nails are impeccable). The haircut service was also removed on 16 August 2026, leaving the 20-minute massage as the only remaining option.

To be clear — you can still get a manicure or haircut at TranSpa if you want to. You’ll just have to pay the a la carte prices, which start from S$45 and S$30 respectively.
What other spa options are available at Changi?

Even with the closure of TranSpa, lounge pass members will have two alternative options at Changi Airport: Natureland in Terminal 2, and Be Relax in Terminal 3.
| Terminal | Spa | Opening Hours | Access |
| T2 Airside |
TranSpa | 11 a.m to 9 p.m | DP PP |
| T2 Airside |
Natureland | 24h | PP |
| T3 Airside |
Be Relax |
10 a.m to 10 p.m | DP |
However, there’s a catch. TranSpa was the only spa venue to accept both Priority Pass and DragonPass. At the other two, it’s one or the other.
Priority Pass members can visit Natureland (open 24 hours) to redeem a 20-minute head and back massage. To be clear, only the Terminal 2 outlet is eligible. Natureland also has outlets at Changi Terminal 3 (landside) and Changi Jewel, neither of which are participating in Priority Pass at the moment.

DragonPass members can visit Be Relax (open 10 a.m to 10 p.m daily) to redeem a 15-minute back or foot massage, or a 30-minute use of a massage chair with oxygen.
I’ve visited both, and my take is that Natureland offers more privacy and a quieter ambiance, since the Be Relax treatments take place in an open area. That said, I’d happily visit either, depending on whichever one is more convenient for my flight.
Which cards offer Priority Pass or DragonPass memberships?
Here’s a summary of which credit cards offer Priority Pass or DragonPass memberships in Singapore.
Do note that American Express has restrictions on non-lounge experiences such as restaurants and spas (OCBC restricts restaurants too, but allows visits to be used at Be Relax and TranSpa).

Conclusion
TranSpa at Changi Terminal 2 will be permanently closing its doors on 2 November 2026, leaving members with roughly 10 weeks to make one last pilgrimage.
Fortunately, there are still alternative spa options in Natureland and Be Relax, though unlike TranSpa, they are exclusive to Priority Pass and DragonPass respectively.
I’m very curious to see what will take TranSpa’s place, so let me know if you spot anything interesting at the airport over the next few months!
