Marriott Bonvoy Double Take promotion now live- register and earn 2X points

Register by 21 May 2019. Stay between 19 March 2019 and 4 June 2019 and unlock 2X points after your second stay.

Marriott has announced its Spring promotion “Double Take” that is valid for all stays starting from 19 March 2019 to 4 June 2019. Registration is required for this promotion and you must register your account by 21 May 2019. 

Earn 2X points from your second stay onward

In this promotion, all Marriott Bonvoy members who enroll for this promotion will be able to earn 2X base Marriott Bonvoy points starting from their second stay. There is no cap to the number of bonus points you can earn during the entire promotional video. In this promotion, award nights do not count.

All Marriott properties are participating in this promotion and here are the number of base Marriott points you will earn at the various Marriott properties:

Some of you might face the issue of the link not displaying correctly and if you happen to face this issue, simply drop a call to Marriott Bonvoy to get them to register your account for it manually.

Once you’ve registered you should see the tracker on your dashboard.

These promotions are a good way to increase your points balances by quite a bit especially if you have several upcoming stays with Marriott and I would recommend signing up for the promotion even if you do not have existing plans to stay with Marriott.

Is it me, or am I the only one facing issues to register for this promotion? I’ve tried googling for the official link, and tried to register from there, only to meet with an error page. Just called the help line, an extremely confused sounding service officer mentioned that you can only register from 19th Mar onwards.

Anyone has additional feedback on this?

Same error on webpage (even incognito mode) and when clicking “Register” on the App. Just called customer service again, apparently I’m “registered”, but they couldn’t give me a reason for the errors I had faced. Got them to send me a “confirmation email” for good measure.

(Side note: CSOs on Marriott’s helpline seems quite poorly trained. Not the same as SPG from before)

Had the same problem for a long time. Finally called customer service last night to manually register me into the program. Its now reflected in my membership promotion page.

Can anyone clarify whether Bonvoy’s definition of stay means we have to book for 2 nights?
