Klook Birthday Sale: Up to 60% off staycation packages and 20% off activities

Klook’s 6th birthday is here, and to mark the occasion, they’re running a whole range of deals for staycations and activities. Selected DBS cardholders can enjoy up to 60% off staycations, while Visa cardholders will enjoy 20% off activities.

These deals go live at different times and are subject to caps, so here’s the key things to note. 

50% off Lloyds Inn staycation for DBS Woman’s Card members

On 23 September 2020 at 12 p.m, Klook will release a promo code on its Facebook page that allows the first 30 DBS Woman’s Card or DBS Woman’s World Card members to get 50% off the following Lloyd’s Inn staycation package: [Klook 6th Birthday Bash 1-For-1 Promo] 2-Nights Stay at Standard Room with Breakfast & Dinner Bowls by MasterChef SG Finalist, Sharon Gonzago.

The regular price for this package is S$477.40, so you’ll pay S$238.70 nett with the promo code. That’s a real decent deal for two nights at Lloyd’s, plus breakfast and dinner. 

Subscribers to Klook’s Telegram channel will get early access to the discount code at 11.30 a.m. I don’t know if Klook has allocated a separate cap for the Telegram code versus the Facebook one, so when in doubt, join Telegram (you can follow The Milelion there too)

60% off staycations for DBS Live Fresh cardmembers

From 24 September 2020 at 6 p.m, DBS Live Fresh cardmembers can use the code 60OFFDBSLF to get 60% off any staycation package, capped at S$60. This is limited to the first 60 users, and no minimum spend is required. 

Assuming you’re within the first 60 customers, you could get…

• Fullerton Bay Hotel weekday stay with breakfast and S$80 F&B credit: S$506 nett
• Andaz Singapore weekday stay with breakfast and S$100 F&B credit: S$240 nett

20% off activities with Visa cards

From 24 September 2020 at 6 p.m, Visa cardholders can use the code VISA6BDAY to get 20% off any activity, capped at S$30. This is limited to the first 250 users, and a minimum spend of S$100 applies. 

Other deals

Klook is teasing other offers like S$60 off weekday staycations (which can be stacked with the 60% off code for the DBS Live Fresh), 1-for-1 activity deals, and further discounts off staycation packages at The Capitol Kempinski and Hotel G. To catch these deals, you’ll need to watch their live stream (available on Facebook), which starts at 6 p.m on 24 September 2020.

What card should I use for Klook?

As a reminder, purchases on Klook code as MCC 4722 (Travel Agencies and Tour Companies), which means you won’t earn 4 mpd with the Citi Rewards Card. Instead, use the following cards to maximize your miles (note: I’ve not tested the UOB Lady’s Card, but they previously showed Klook as a valid travel merchant on their landing page).

Conclusion

I’m pretty sure the Lloyd’s Inn and DBS Live Fresh deals will be a mad house, but if you fancy trying your luck, then set a calendar reminder in advance.
