Here’s some good news for OCBC VOYAGE cardholders who have been accumulating limo rides throughout the year with no way of using them.
Effective immediately, accumulated limo rides can be cashed out for statement credit. The validity of all accrued rides will also be further extended to 30 June 2021. This was set out in an SMS that OCBC sent yesterday to all VOYAGE cardholders:Â

Convert limo rides to cash credit or VOYAGE miles
OCBC has added a new rewards currency to its rewards catalogue called “Limo Rides”, which can be redeemed at a rate of 1 limo ride = S$20 statement rebate.Â
The SMS mentioned “cash and more“, so I’m wondering what the “and more” is. Shopping vouchers? VOYAGE Miles? Certainly not Rob$…
As a reminder, OCBC VOYAGE cardholders currently earn a free limo ride with every S$5,000 spent in a month (increased from S$3,000 in June 2020). With the new limo rebate option and VOYAGE’s temporary enhanced rate for statement credits, cardholders basically enjoy a sort of “milestone bonus” upon hitting blocks of S$5,000 spending.Â

Limo ride validity extended till 30 June 2021
Back in April, OCBC announced that it would be extending the validity of all VOYAGE limo rides earned in 2020 till 31 December 2020 (or the actual expiry date, whichever is later).Â
Now comes a further extension, with all limo rides earned in 2020 valid till 30 June 2021 (or the actual expiry date, whichever is later). Cardholders can check the validity of their limo rides by logging into the rewards portal and following the instructions below:
Conclusion
While the Hong Kong travel bubble is due to open up in just over a week, it’s likely that the vast majority of VOYAGE cardholders will not be able to utilize their airport limo rides this year. Therefore, it’s great to see OCBC offering them an opportunity to cash out.Â
