Flash sale: Ritz-Carlton Millenia from S$467 nett with room upgrade and free dinner

From now till 26 April 2021, enjoy 25% off the Ritz-Carlton Millenia plus a room upgrade and dinner at the newly-opened Republic.

Since the start of 2021, the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore has run a monthly flash sale to coincide with the hotel’s 25th anniversary. January and February’s deals were pretty good, March’s was fantastic, now we have the latest iteration.

Ritz-Carlton 25th Anniversary Sale

The Ritz-Carlton Millenia’s flash sale runs from now till 1p.m on 26 April 2021. Guests who make a booking during this period for stays by 30 June 2021 will receive the following perks:

  • 25% off BAR rate
  • Room upgrade
  • Dinner for two at Republic

There are only two types of accommodations available for this sale: Grand Marina rooms and Premier Suites. Keep in mind that the room you book is the final room type you get, with the upgrade already factored in. In other words, the Grand Marina room is pricing the same as a Grand Kallang, and the Premier Suite is pricing the same as a Deluxe Suite.

Rates start at S$397++ (S$467 nett) per night, going up to S$420++ (S$494 nett) on weekends. Do note that breakfast is not included; you’ll need to order it off the a la carte menu.

For what it’s worth, all the non-suite rooms at the Ritz-Carlton Millenia are the same size at 51 sqm; they’re just on different floors with different views. Likewise, the Premier Suite and Deluxe Suite are the same 72 sqm size; the former has better views.

Regardless of which room you book under this flash sale, you will not be entitled to club lounge access. Even Marriott’s top-tier Ambassador members don’t get lounge access at Ritz-Carltons, and anyway the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore doesn’t participate in Marriott Bonvoy.

The true perk of this package is dinner at Republic, a newly-opened 1960s inspired bar and lounge residing in the renovated East Wing. Bookings come with dinner for two guests each night of the stay (not day, as mentioned on the Marriott website). Guests will be able to choose one appetizer, one main and one dessert from this menu.

For those who still have SRV handy, this package can be booked on Trip.com. Hover your mouse over the “free gift” icon to check you have the right package- you should see “25 Year Anniversary Offer 4” (the 4 presumably refers to the number of flash sales we’ve had so far).

Book Ritz-Carlton Anniversary Offer via Trip.com

Since the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore does not participate in Marriott Bonvoy, it doesn’t really matter through which channel you book. In fact, it’s better to book on Trip.com so you can stack whatever promo codes happen to be available.

All reservations are strictly non-refundable, so be sure to confirm your plans before pulling the trigger.

Alternatives for Healthcare workers

If you’re a healthcare worker, you’ll be able to book a regular room at S$275++ (S$324 nett) per night, or a club room at S$525++ (S$618 nett). This rate is valid for both weekend and weekday stays; use the booking code HJH on the official website.

Conclusion

To me, the whole point of staying at the Ritz-Carlton is the club lounge experience, so I’m not sure if I’d recommend visiting without that. However, if you don’t drink, or if you’re more interested in taking in those views from the iconic bathrooms, then this might be an interesting deal to consider.
