World of Hyatt’s latest Bonus Journeys offer lapsed on 20 April 2022, and it’s yet to launch a new global promotion.
In the meantime, however, there’s a smaller-scale offer for members staying at 78 selected Hyatt properties across Asia Pacific from 16 May to 2 September 2022: 1,000 bonus points per two night stay.
Registration is required, and must be done by 31 July 2022.
New World of Hyatt Bonus Journeys promotion
Registered World of Hyatt members will earn 1,000 bonus points per two qualifying nights at participating properties, completed between 16 May and 2 September 2022.
A maximum of 15,000 bonus points can be earned during this promotion (i.e. you’ll max it out with 30 nights). Any stays booked prior to registration will still qualify, provided you register before check-out of your first stay.
Award nights are also eligible to earn bonus points.

Maxing out this promotion
I value Hyatt points at roughly 1.7 US cents each, so 1,000 bonus points would be worth US$17. Since the number of bonus points is fixed regardless of rate, the lower your rate, the higher your effective rebate.
In fact, since award nights are also eligible, you could think of this as a way of earning an additional points rebate on your stays. The Grand Hyatt Bali, Hyatt Regency Bali, Studios at Alila Seminyak and Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur are all Category 1 hotels, starting from just 3,500 points per night. Earning 1,000 bonus points per two night stay brings the effective cost per night down to just 3,000 points.

A quick reminder that from now till 31 May 2022, 11.59 a.m SGT, World of Hyatt is running its largest-ever points sale, with a 30% discount for purchases of at least 5,000 points.
This works out to 1.68 US cents per point, and to apply the math to the previous section- by registering for this promotion and buying points, you could be spending an average of just US$50 per night at Category 1 hotels. You’ll of course want to compare that to the cash rates, but I daresay you’ll come out on top in most cases.
A maximum of 55,000 points can be purchased in a calendar year, but you can combine points across accounts during redemptions, so you and your spouse/traveling companion could each buy points and pool them if necessary.
World of Hyatt is offering 1,000 bonus points per two nights at participating hotels across Asia Pacific, which is a nice little tide-me-over until the next global promotion launches.
Don’t forget to register for the offer by 31 July 2022 (it only takes a minute to do).
