The maximum bonus is capped at 8,000 miles, or S$4,000 of eligible spending during the entire promotion period. Supplementary cardholders are eligible to participate in this promotion, but their spending will count towards the cap of the principal cardholder.
What counts as eligible transactions?
A minimum of S$1,000 must be spent on any of the following during the promotion period. For avoidance of doubt, you can combine spending across categories, e.g. S$600 on overseas spend, S$500 on online travel bookings
Overseas spend
Overseas spend refers to any in-store foreign currency transaction processed via an overseas payment gateway. Therefore, spending on Amazon’s USA website will not count, but pumping petrol in Malaysia will.
Do note that while the table provided by UOB seems to suggest that only dining, shopping, hotel or online travel bookings in foreign currency are eligible, the T&Cs clarify that all overseas spending will qualify.
Online travel bookings
Online travel bookings must be processed in Singapore dollars at merchants with any of the following MCCs.

Travel Services | 4411, 4722, 5962, 7012 |
Each airline and hotel chain has its own MCC, which you can lookup here.
Basically, every major airline is covered, such as Singapore Airlines, Scoot, British Airways, Air France, Qantas, and Cathay Pacific. You’d even earn the bonus if you booked a ticket on Wideroes Flyveselskap, the regional Norweigan airline.
All major hotel chains are included too- Hilton, Marriott, Shangri-La, Westin, InterContinental etc. AirBnB uses MCC 7011, which is also included.
Travel services includes cruise liners like Royal Caribbean and Princess Cruises, and OTAs like Hotels.com and Kayak.
Agoda, Expedia and UOB Travel
Bookings for Agoda, Expedia and UOB Travel must be made via the links below in order to qualify.
I should point out that the hotel rates offered through these dedicated links may sometimes be higher than what you’d otherwise pay on the public site. Do make it a point to comparison shop and make sure you’re not paying over the odds for the bonus miles.
The differences should not be a stark for airline bookings (but still check!), although the bigger issue is that the list of participating airlines for UOB Travel does not include Singapore Airlines. You can still earn 3.4 mpd under the “online travel bookings in SGD” category, but I’d rather go for 4 mpd with the DBS Woman’s World Card assuming it doesn’t breach my monthly cap.
When will I receive my miles?
Base UNI$ will be posted along with the transaction as per normal, and bonus UNI$ will be credited to your account by 31 January 2023.

Card Review |
A 4.4 mpd rate for overseas transactions would make the UOB PRVI Miles Mastercard the highest-earning option in this category. However, there’s a 3.25% FCY fee with all transactions, so the first-best solution would still be to pair the Amaze with the Citi Rewards card.
There’s a S$1,000 minimum spend required, but you have two months to hit it. Don’t forget the cap of S$4,000 as well, which applies to the entire promotional period.
Registration only takes a couple of seconds, so better to get it done sooner rather than later.

Hi Aaron
Will buying Hyatt points count?
I registered and received the reply, “Thank you for your interest in our promotion. We have received submission of your interest. Visit UOB PRVI Miles Card website for T&Cs.”
The message is ambiguous. Does it mean I have successfully registered?
Not necessarily- I got the same message upon registering, and then realized I donโt even have the MC version of the PRVI card.
why not amaze + UOB PRVI?
Because it will code as local spend and won’t be eligible for foreign currency / overseas spend
i would do that. it will then earn 3.4MPD with min forex fee for say overseas hotel spend. vs say UOB VI 4mpd but with 3.25% forex.
Why does UOB make you register? Maybe it is designed to exclude those out of Singapore at the time? As there is no way to register when not in Singapore.
can send sms leh… i always at oversea..almost all UOB Prvi promo i got join.
Will we still get 8 mpd if we book a flight ticket via the dedicated expedia link but it’s not part of the participating airlines?
I just saw the uob website. Itโs capped at 4000uni$. Not 8000
thanks! have fixed that.
Does in store means spending in person physically at the store?
If I submit my card details to the hotel for a pre-payment and charged in FCY, would this be treated as “overseas spend”?
yes. but if u pair with amaze, it will charge as local spend and get 3.4mpd with min forex vs 4.4mpd with 3.25% – you decide.
Any idea if it will count towards the minimum $1000 spend if its booked on dedicated Agoda but deducted at a later date, say December?
Would paywave via Apple Pay overseas count as in store fcy?
