Kris+ is ending 2022 with a year-end sale that features two sure-win offers: one for spending through Kris+, and the other for converting KrisFlyer miles and bank points into KrisPay miles.

While the latter is generally not a good idea, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with spending through Kris+, since you can take earn up to 9 mpd extra depending on the merchant.

From 7-18 December 2022, Kris+ users will receive one Game chance for every Kris+ transaction of at least S$10 paid via:
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
- KrisPay miles
- Any combination of the above
For avoidance of doubt, you receive one Game chance for each eligible transaction, whether it’s S$10 or S$100.
Game chances are stored under the “wallet” section of the Kris+ app, and each spin will win one of the following prizes:
- 3,000 KrisPay miles (S$20)
- 1,500 KrisPay miles (S$10)
- 600 KrisPay miles (S$4)
- 300 KrisPay miles (S$2)
- 150 KrisPay miles (S$1)
This means you’ll receive at least a 10% rebate, assuming you’re able to spend S$10 on the dot.
KrisPay miles won through this promotion will be instantly credited, and are valid for six months. However, they cannot be transferred back to KrisFlyer, and must be spent via Kris+.

Do note that because of the transfer blocks involved, only transfers of KrisFlyer miles will let you hit the 750 KrisPay mile minimum on the dot.

KrisFlyer miles are normally worth 0.67 cents each when transferred to Kris+, but once you factor in the mystery bonus, the value could end up higher.

You could stretch the value even further if you spent these miles during one of Kris+’s regular milesback promos.
Conclusion
Kris+ is offering bonus KrisPay miles for spending and top-ups this festive season, and the best part is you can pay through Apple or Google Pay as per normal- these miles are really just the icing on the cake.
The Kris+ merchant list now numbers more than 300, including popular retailers like Bottles & Bottles, Challenger and Harvey Norman, so it shouldn’t be too hard to find somewhere to use it.
Does not look like Singapore Airlines is going to give any year-end conversion bonus. I guess it was wishful thinking to be able to get a 10% or 15% transfer bonus like in 2020 and 2021.
Can KrisPay miles earned from mastercard cashback be transferred back to Krisflyer. Doesn’t seem to work. It makes sense to buy big tickets items via KrisPay with 6-9 miles/dollar. Using the latest spontaneous escapes, I had enough to redeem a return business class to Bali by purchasing a mattress. And then stack up the discounts with Capitamall promos. Not bad!
