IHG One Rewards has launched a new offer for award stays worldwide, which allows Diamond and Platinum Elite members to save 15% off the regular award costs.
This matches the previous offer we saw back in September 2023, and is a great opportunity to save on an upcoming stay- provided you can travel within the next 40 days or so.

Here’s the key details of IHG’s award night sale:
- No registration is required
- Stays must be booked by 14 January 2024 (I’m not sure what time zone they’re referring to here)
- Stays must be completed by 22 February 2024
- No minimum stay is necessary, but the discount is capped at three nights
- No cap on the maximum points you can save
- You can book as many awards as you wish
The 15% discount will be automatically reflected at the time of booking. If you’re not seeing availability, remember that your stay must be completed by 22 February 2024.
The discount can also be applied to Points & Cash bookings. Do note that only the points portion is discounted.
This can come in useful when you don’t have enough points for an award stay. You’ll be paying roughly 0.56 US cents per point, slightly higher than the price during IHG’s periodic 100% bonus sales (0.5 US cents per point).
Stays booked under this promotion can be changed or refunded, subject to the usual cancellation windows for award stays.
The main catch here is the limited booking and travel window; you’ll need to make your bookings by Sunday, and travel between now and 22 February 2024 to take advantage of the offer.
