Back in June 2023, Singapore Airlines added a new lounge access benefit for Solitaire PPS Club members flying Scoot.ย Members would now be permitted to visit the SilverKris Lounges in Singapore and overseas, where available.ย
However, when departing from Singapore, access was limited to the older lounge in Terminal 2, with the newer, larger Terminal 3 facility off limits.
Thankfully, that restriction has now been lifted.ย
Solitaire PPS Club members can now visit either SilverKris Lounge at Changi
Effective 18 June 2024, Solitaire PPS Club members can now visit either the Terminal 2 or Terminal 3 SilverKris First Class Lounges when departing from Singapore on Scoot. As before, they may bring one guest who isย travelling on the same Scoot flight.ย
The Singapore Airlines website has been updated to reflect this change (the previous version explicitly limited access to Terminal 2).
For avoidance of doubt, the perk is equally applicable to principal and supplementary Solitaire PPS Club members.ย
This is welcome news if you ask me. No disrespect to the Terminal 2 lounge, but it isn’t exactly the kind of thing you come early to the airport for.ย It’s a very staid, functional kind of glorified waiting room that’s well overdue for a renovation (I find it hard to believe that Singapore Airlines intends to keep these as-is till Terminal 5 arrives in the mid-2030s).
Amenities here are extremely basic. The loungeย lacks seating variety, sleep areas, productivity pods and private shower suites, and the F&B selection is a subset of what’s available in Terminal 3 (probably due to the smaller kitchen space).ย
In contrast, the Terminal 3 lounge, opened in 2022, offers a much superior experience. It boasts a gorgeous flagship bar with an expanded dining area and buffet spread, as well as more cooked-to-order options than Terminal 2.
Guests can also look forward to productivity pods, four nap rooms (with proper Tempur Zero G beds) and six shower suites with attached GROHE Sensia Arena electric bidet toilets.

Do note that access remains departure-only. A Solitaire PPS Club member can only visit the SilverKris Lounge on arrival in Singapore if he/she is travelling on Singapore Airlines.
Logistical considerations
Check-in for Scoot flights takes place at Terminal 1, so you’ll still need to head there first to drop off your bags. After that’s done, you can clear immigration and then proceed to eitherย Terminal 2 or 3 to visit the lounges.ย
Despite its datedness, the Terminal 2 lounge remains the more convenient option. Simply turn right after immigration and head to the Transfer D area. You’ll take the Skytrain here to the E gates, where the SilverKris Lounge is located.
If you want to visit the Terminal 3 lounge, turn left after immigration and head to the Transfer C area. You’ll take the Skytrain here to the B gates, then walk across the Terminal 3 concourse to the A gates and SilverKris Lounge.
Be sure to budget time for the journey back as well!
Overseas SilverKris lounges
There is no change to the policy for overseas SilverKris Lounge access. Solitaire PPS Club members flying on Scoot can continue to visit First Class section of the SilverKris Lounge, where availableย (or Business Class, where a First Class section does not exist).
Keep in mind that SilverKris Lounges operate around Singapore Airlines flight timings, and may not be open during your Scoot departure window.ย The following Scoot destinations offer a SilverKris Lounge (opening hours can be found on the SIA website):
๐ซ Overseas SilverKris Lounges |

Hong Kong | โ | โ |

Only three outstation SilverKris Lounges currently offer a First Class section: Hong Kong, Melbourne and Sydney. I must say, it’ll be quite the transition to go from champagne and table service to a cramped middle seat with no free water!
Solitaire PPS Club perks
In addition to lounge access, Solitaire PPS Club members enjoy a host of perks as the top dogs on Singapore Airlines’ elite ladder. Members can look forward to priority check-in and boarding, additional luggage space, extra access to Saver awards, APEC card reimbursement and more.
Refer to my guide below for all the details.
Conclusion
Solitaire PPS Club members departing from Changi Airport on Scoot can now visit either of the SilverKris First Class Lounges in Terminals 2 or 3.
Do keep in mind that it’s a significantly longer journey for a Scoot passenger to get to the Terminal 3 lounge, but the far superior experience awaiting there may make it worthwhile.ย
I hope KFEG can access gold lounge while flying Scootโฆ
zero chance, if they won’t even let PPS members do it. the overcrowding would reach critical levels.
I managed to use T3 SilverKris FCL lounge on a Scoot ticket before this announced change. I guessed not worth their fuss to enforce it.
Not sure if there are other readers who can confirm.
I believe that the nap rooms in T3 FCL are all Tempur Zero G beds now when I visited in early June.
oh yes that’s right, i remember they got rid of the recliners and made them all into beds.
