American Express has launched the latest edition of its Go with AMEX promotion, which offers registered cardholders up to S$540 in statement credits with Four Seasons, Hilton, Millennium Hotels, Peninsula Hotels and Shangri-La Hotels.
These limited-quantity credits are now open for registration via the AMEX Offers portal.
โ What are AMEX Offers? |
AMEX Offers are opportunities to earn bonus miles or Membership Rewards points, or discounts in the form of statement credits. These are available to Platinum, True Cashback, and KrisFlyer cardholders, and can be found in the โOffersโ section of the AMEX app or web portal. Registration is required, and some offers may be targeted. These are not applicable to DBS, Citi or UOB AMEX cardholders. |

Unlike past hotel credit campaigns, where it was possible to register for offers on multiple cards, AMEX has changed its algorithm so only your highest spending card gets targeted this time round. In my case, thatโs the AMEX HighFlyer Card, but it could be different for you.
Transactions must be charged to the registered card by the expiry date to qualify for the offer; any transactions charged after this date will not be eligible, even if your stay took place within the promotional period.
A few points to note:
Hilton offer hasnโt started yet!
The Hilton offer will only commence from 3 June 2025, so while you can register now, any transactions made before this date will not qualify for the offer.
The rest of the offers all commence on 29 April 2025.
Multiple transactions are OK
There is no need to clock the entire spend in a single transaction.
For example, the Millennium Hotels & Resorts offer requires a cumulative spend of S$300 to trigger a S$90 credit. You could do this in two separate transactions of S$200 and S$100. In fact, the transactions need not even be at the same property; you could combine spending across different participating properties within the Millennium Hotels & Resorts group.
In-person vs online
Offers for the Shangri-La Group and Millennium Hotels & Resorts can be used online or in-person.
For all the other offers, payments must be made in-person at the front desk or participating outlet.
If payments must be made in-person, any rates which are prepaid online will not qualify for the offer (provided payment is actually taken online; Iโve stayed on โprepaidโ rates that werenโt charged until I arrived at the front desk).
If you want to book a cheaper prepaid rate, there is a possible workaround- assuming the hotel is in Singapore. Look for the rate you wish to book on the website, then email the hotel and ask them to reserve it for you. You can then head down to the hotel to make payment in advance of your actual stay. This wouldnโt work for overseas hotels, obviously, but it might be worth contacting them to see if something can be worked out.
Crediting timelines
Credits should appear on your billing statement within 15 days from qualifying spend, but may take up to 90 days from the offer end date.
Full list of participating hotels & outlets

The full list of participating hotels, restaurants, bars and spas an be found in the links below.
- Four Seasons
- Hilton
- Millennium Hotels & Resorts
- Peninsula
- Shangri-La Group
Some names that caught my eye include the excellent Conrad Koh Samui and Waldorf Astoria Bangkok. Closer to home, the Conrad Singapore Marina Bay (formerly Conrad Centennial), Conrad Singapore Orchard and Hilton Singapore Orchard are all participating too.
Stacking AMEX Offers with other discounts

AMEX Offers are stackable with other promotions, which presents a great opportunity for additional savings.
For example, Hilton is currently offering Gold and Diamond members a 25% discount off F&B with its Dine Like a Member offer. So if you were to visit Estate at Hilton Singapore Orchard and spend S$334 on dining:
- The 25% discount for Gold and Diamond members would reduce the amount to S$250.50
- After 10% service charge and 9% GST, the nett amount of S$300.35 would trigger the S$60 credit
- Youโve therefore paid S$240.35 for S$334 worth of food, a discount of almost 30%
Other stacking opportunities exist with Love Dining, as many of the Millennium Hotels & Resorts dining outlets are also part of this programme (such as Bar Intermezzo, Cafe 2000 and Hua Ting).
Stacking offers with luxury privileges rates

Download HoteLux app |
To get more value out of these offers, consider booking luxury privileges rates offered by platforms such as HoteLux, where available.
Luxury privileges rates price the same as the hotelโs best flexible rate, and include free breakfast, US$100 hotel credits, room upgrades and early check-in/late check-out where available. These are fully refundable and charged by the hotel at the time of check-out, so there wonโt be any issues triggering the credit.
World and World Elite members can enjoy a complimentary HoteLux Elite membership, valid for 3 and 12 months respectively.
Conclusion
American Express has launched a new set of hotel promotions that offer up to S$540 in statement credits across various hotel chains. Registration is required, and limited, so be sure to visit the AMEX app and select the offers youโre interested in ASAP.
If youโre looking at the Hilton offer in particular, donโt forget to hold your fire till 3 June 2025 when the offer officially starts.
Why is Osteria Mozza not includedโฆ Thatโs really sadโฆ
Is the offer extended to supplementary cards too?
For four seasons, it says spend 300, get 60, up to two times-
