Mastercard Taste by Priceless dining club officially opens at Hong Kong Airport

Mastercard's first dining club in Asia Pacific is now open at HKG, with complimentary access for World Legend, and paid access for other Mastercard tiers.

Back in May 2026, Mastercard soft-opened Taste by Priceless Hong Kong, an exclusive dining club for cardholders at Hong Kong International Airport. This is the first such concept in Asia Pacific, and the second worldwide after Sao Paulo Guarulhos.

Taste by Priceless Hong Kong has now officially opened, and Mastercard has sent over some updated photos of the lounge dining club (they’re very careful not to call it a lounge!), together with the food and beverage offerings.

The promotional access rate, originally set to lapse at the end of August, has also been extended by a further month. World Elite and World Mastercard cardholders can visit Taste by Priceless for US$70 per person until 30 September 2026, after which the price will increase to US$85 per person.

Taste by Priceless Hong Kong is located airside in Hong Kong Terminal 1, near Gate 40, Departures Level (L7). You can follow the signs for the Emirates Lounge, which is very close by.

For context, Taste by Priceless occupies the space that used to belong to the Chase Sapphire Lounge. This was later rebranded as the Kyra Lounge and divided into two sections, one for Kyra (which remains accessible to Priority Pass, DragonPass and other lounge membership programmes), and one for Taste by Priceless (which uses the former overflow space).

Operating hours are 6 a.m to 12 a.m daily.

When is World Legend coming to Singapore?

While the HSBC Prive Card recently became Asia Pacific’s first World Legend Mastercard, the upgrade is limited to cards issued in Hong Kong only. As of today, World Legend has yet to make its debut in Singapore.

I imagine it’ll come to Singapore sooner or later, but in the meantime, it’s a little odd that someone with a HSBC Prive Card issued in Singapore is going to have to pay for access, based on the technicality that they’re only World Elite.

Taste by Priceless Hong Kong: Overview

Taste by Priceless Hong Kong

The most important thing to understand about Taste by Priceless is that it’s first and foremost a restaurant. Those who need traditional lounge amenities like power outlets, work-friendly chairs or showers should look elsewhere.

Instead, the focus here is squarely on dining, with banquettes, bar seating, a chef’s counter, and long, flowing red velvet sofas. It’s a great place to relax over a cocktail and some tapas, less so for taking Zoom calls or heavy-duty spreadsheet work.

The Cove

The Cove is a more casual experience, offering refined tapas-style dishes like pil pil prawns and miso-glazed cauliflower.

Where will the next Taste by Priceless open?

Taste by Priceless Sao Paulo

Hong Kong is the second Taste by Priceless dining club in the world, after Sao Paulo Guarulhos. The next Taste by Priceless dining club will be in Mexico City, with the opening date yet to be confirmed.

As much as I’d love to see one in Singapore, I doubt it’ll happen anytime soon, given the space constraints at Changi Airport.

Conclusion

Taste by Priceless Hong Kong offers cardmembers a very different sort of experience, eschewing the traditional airport lounge in favour of a dining-centric approach. I have yet to visit, but the reviews online seem very positive.

World Legend cardmembers will receive complimentary access, while other Mastercard tiers will pay US$70, increasing to US$85 from October 2026. Mind you, it’s not a given that they’ll always have access — over in Sao Paulo, Taste by Priceless has been restricted to World Legend since April 2026. If the crowding situation in Hong Kong gets bad, we may see a similar move to maintain exclusivity.

If you’re passing through Hong Kong, do share your experiences!
