The HSBC Premier Mastercard has fast become one of my favourite credit cards, with its complimentary airport limo rides, unlimited lounge access for up to four cardholders, and perhaps best of all — an annual fee waiver for qualified HSBC Premier customers.

But a HSBC Premier relationship is more than just the credit card. It comes with a broader ecosystem of perks and privileges, which I’ve been gradually discovering over the past year as a Premier customer myself.
And if you’ve been planning to sign-up, but holding off for a SingSaver welcome gift, now’s your chance — SingSaver has launched its first HSBC Premier campaign since the card’s August 2025 relaunch. This offers new customers a choice of S$1,600 cash, 105,000 Max Miles, or an Apple MacBook Air, with a minimum fresh funds deposit of S$300,000 maintained for five months.

I’ll go through the details shortly, but first, let’s recap some of the privileges of a HSBC Premier relationship.

One of the best perks of being a HSBC Premier customer is the HSBC Premier Mastercard, which offers a host of travel and lifestyle benefits.
The card normally has an annual fee of S$708.50, which is waived so long as you maintain a HSBC Premier relationship with a minimum total relationship balance of S$200,000.
Cardholders earn up to 1.68 mpd/2.76 mpd on local/overseas spend, along with the following benefits.
Welcome offer of up to 58,200 miles + S$200 Apple voucher
The HSBC Premier Mastercard is currently offering a welcome bonus worth up to 58,200 miles (awarded in the form of 145,500 HSBC Points) and a S$200 Apple voucher (redeemable at the Apple Store for HSBC Premier).
This is available to customers who:
- Apply between 1 August and 30 September 2026 (with approval by 14 October 2026)
- Make a minimum qualifying spend of S$5,000 by the end of the month following approval
- Provide consent to receiving marketing and promotional materials from HSBC at the time of submitting their application, and do not revoke it before the welcome gift is received
The offer is capped at the first 800 qualified customers, and both new and existing HSBC cardholders are eligible to participate.
The terms & conditions for this welcome offer can be found here.
Lounge access for up to four cardholders
When I’m flying and don’t have lounge access, I rely on the HSBC Premier Mastercard’s Priority Pass benefit, which offers unlimited airport lounge visits and airport experiences, such as set meals at restaurants and spa treatments.
One feature I particularly value is the ability to gift the same benefit to up to three loved ones through supplementary cards, allowing them to enjoy the lounge even when they’re not travelling with me.
Complimentary airport limo transfers

The HSBC Premier Mastercard offers two complimentary airport limo rides with a minimum spend of S$12,000 per quarter.
The minimum spend is further reduced to S$6,000 as a one-time concession for the quarter in which you were issued the card, so be sure to take full advantage of that. A maximum of eight free rides can be earned per year, and codes are valid for one year from the date of issue.
Dining privileges

Another HSBC Premier benefit I make regular use of are the dining privileges, which include 1-for-1 set lunches or dinners on weekdays at the following restaurants:

These benefits also extend to the Shangri-La Singapore, where HSBC Premier customers enjoy 1-for-1 lunch buffet at The Line, 1-for-1 afternoon tea at The Rose Veranda, and 1-for-1 pizzas at Waterfall Ristorante Italiano.
On top of this, there are periodic invitations to exclusive 1-for-1 dining experiences at restaurants like COTE and Nobu.

Finally, if you’ve been trying and failing to get a reservation at Burnt Ends, HSBC Premier customers enjoy priority reservations for dinner on Friday and Saturday for groups of two or four diners.
The full list of participating restaurants can be found here.
Flexible points with 20 airline and hotel partners
One feature I really value is point flexibility — the ability to convert credit card points to a wide range of partners, ideally instantly, without conversion fees and in small conversion blocks.
HSBC Points tick all these boxes. Cardholders can transfer points to 20 airline and hotel partners, the most among any bank in Singapore.
Conversions are processed instantly (except for Hainan Fortune Wings Club and Japan Airlines Mileage Bank), and transfer fees are waived. While the minimum conversion block is 10,000 miles, subsequent conversions can be made in increments of just 2 miles (so you could transfer 20,482 miles, for instance).
What’s more, HSBC Points are pooled across cards, so you can combine the points earned on the HSBC Premier Mastercard with the points earned on other HSBC cards, such as the HSBC Revolution.
5% cashback on Apple devices

One lesser-known benefit is that HSBC Premier Mastercard customers enjoy 5% cashback on purchases of iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple Watches and other Apple devices via the Apple Store for HSBC Premier.
These items are usually price-controlled, so you should be able to get some guaranteed savings here, while still earning your regular credit card miles.
World Elite Mastercard benefits
The HSBC Premier Mastercard belongs to the World Elite Mastercard tier, which offers additional benefits such as GHA DISCOVERY Titanium, Avis President’s Club, an annual 3GB FlexiRoam data package and complimentary golf games.
These benefits extend to your supplementary cardholders as well.
Health & Wellness programme

Another HSBC Premier benefit I’ve come to appreciate is the Premier Health & Wellness programme, which offers 24/7 health concierge support and second opinion recommendations, as well as partner privileges for specialist consultations, health screening, dental care, TCM and more.
HSBC Premier customers also enjoy access to in-person GP consultations, flu vaccinations and a comprehensive eye screening, available at Parkway Shenton clinics across Singapore.
I made use of this recently to get my flu jab before heading overseas, and found the process pretty seamless — a simple WhatsApp message to the HSBC Premier Health Concierge got everything settled. I’m also planning to book a health screening package for my annual medical check-up.
International benefits
HSBC Premier customers enjoy fee-free cash withdrawals at HSBC ATMs around the world, and fee-free transfers between HSBC accounts globally. With the HSBC Forex Club, customers can enjoy preferential FX rates with up to 40% off the FX margin — with discounts increasing based on volume of exchange.
On top of this, your HSBC Premier status is recognised worldwide with HSBC, so you’ll automatically qualify for Premier when you bank overseas too.
For example, if your children are travelling overseas for further studies, you can open a Premier account for them and share your privileges. HSBC Premier also offers complimentary access to overseas education consultants.

This is stackable with the HSBC Premier Mastercard’s ongoing welcome offer, and cardholders continue to enjoy up to four Priority Pass memberships with unlimited visits, complimentary airport limo rides, and 1-for-1 dining offers, with further privileges through the Premier Health & Wellness programme.

Does having a HSBC Everyday Global Account (EGA) equate to having a HSBC Personal Banking account? If so, damn…
