Marriott Bonvoy offering up to 4,500 bonus points per stay

Stay between 22 September and 22 November 2026 and earn 1,500 points per 2-night stay, with an extra 3,000 points for resorts.

Marriott Bonvoy has unveiled its next global promotion, which covers stays between 22 September and 22 November 2026. Members will earn 1,500 bonus points for each stay of two or more nights, or 4,500 bonus points if the stay is at a resort property.

Any promotion is better than nothing, but I have to say, this doesn’t really provide a compelling reason to switch your stays away from other chains (unless you’re gunning for status!).

Marriott Bonvoy offering 1,500 to 4,500 bonus points per stay

Register

Marriott Bonvoy’s latest global promotion offers members:

  • 1,500 bonus points on stays of at least two nights
  • An extra 3,000 bonus points (i.e. 4,500 points total) on resort stays of at least two nights

A full list of resort properties can be found here. Some examples of resort properties include the W Singapore Sentosa Cove, The Laurus Singapore, Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa, W Koh Samui and Renaissance Bali Uluwatu. Remember, the guaranteed 4 p.m late check-out benefit for Platinum and higher members does not apply at such properties.

Here are the key details of the offer:

  • Members must register by 13 November 2026 via this link
  • Stays must be from 22 September to 22 November 2026
  • Only paid stays are eligible; award stays and cash + points stays do not qualify
  • Bonus points will post within 10 days of completing a stay
  • Bonus applies to a maximum of one room per booking
  • Nights at BVLGARI, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection and Marriott Executive Apartments do not count
  • No cap on the bonus points that can be earned

Bookings made before the promotional period began will also qualify; all that matters is that the stay is completed within the 22 September to 22 November 2026 window. If your check-out date is after 22 November 2026, that stay won’t be eligible.

This is meant to be a global promotion — i.e. not targeted — but some members have reported being unable to register for global promotions in the past. All I can suggest is to try using a different browser, or calling up customer service and asking if you can be registered for promo WL26 if all else fails.

How valuable is this promotion?

Marriott Bonvoy points are worth roughly 0.7 US cents each, so 1,500 and 4,500 bonus points would be worth US$10.50 and US$33 respectively.

But given that stays must be at least two nights, paid with cash, and over a relatively short promotional period of two months, it’s hard to get excited.

How many points do Bonvoy members earn?

Here’s a quick recap of how many points Marriott Bonvoy members earn at various tiers, starting from 10 points per US$1 and increasing to 17.5 points per US$1 at the top end.

Conclusion

Marriott Bonvoy’s latest global promotion offers members 1,500 bonus points for stays of at least two nights, plus an extra 3,000 points if that stay is at a resort property.

It’s far from generous, really, and I much prefer the spring promotion which offered 2,500 bonus points per stay with no two-night minimum, plus bonus elite night credits.

All the same, be sure to register now in case you forget, should your travel plans involve Marriott anyway.
